    Abstract: A downhole coupling mechanism for use in downhole tools that find application in wells exploited by a hydraulic refracturing process. The downhole coupling mechanism connects first and second tubular sections via a tensile load arrangement of wires located in complimentary grooves, a torque arrangement of interlocking lugs and notches on opposite ends, and a seal arrangement. The downhole coupling mechanism provides a thin walled coupling where a screw-threaded connection could not achieve the required tensile load, torque and sealing properties needed. Embodiments of a thin walled anchor and packer including the downhole coupling mechanism are described.

Clients subscribe to a topic maintained by the data distribution system server that publishers can publish to. Clients receive an original binary representation of a text based object describing the state of the topic to which the client is subscribed. In response to the state of the topic changing at the data distribution system server, clients receive a binary delta representing the change of the state of the topic. Based on the received binary representation and the binary delta, clients calculate an updated binary representation of the text based object. Using the original binary representation, the updated binary representation, and the binary delta, the client generates a structural delta representing the structural differences between data structures of the original text based object and data structures of the updated text based object.

Characterizations can be updated in response to the vehicle encountering changes in the route and can include a set of driving rules associated with the route, where the driving rules are developed based on monitoring the navigation of one or more vehicles of the route. Characterizations can be uploaded to a remote system which processes data to develop and refine route characterizations and provide characterizations to one or more vehicles.
