  • Publication number: 20240157611
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for molding a fibrous molded article. An aqueous slurry that contains an amount of water and a plurality of fibers is added to the molding apparatus. First and second molding screens are positioned on a first pressing unit and a second pressing unit, respectively, and include a plurality of openings. The first and second molding screens can include secondary relief features. A pressing chamber sleeve slidably engages with the first pressing unit and the second pressing unit to ensure proper alignment during molding operation. The first and second molding screens at least partially form a void that is intended to receive an amount of the aqueous slurry. • Publication number: 20240157160
Abstract: A wearable article is provided as a wearable component of a medical device configured with elements to accommodate electrode pads in a manner that offers flexibility, cushion, and temperature regulation for comfort of a patient, as well as facilitating distribution of pressure on the electrode pads against the body of the patient. A containment portion of the wearable article houses the electrode pad and a spacer structure. The spacer structure is flexible to move as the body of the patient moves and yet provides a level of stiffness for pressure on the underlying electrode. Numerous springy elements dispersed in the spacer structure provide a thickness and open space for air circulation through the spacer structure, resulting in temperature regulation of the wearable article.

  • Publication number: 20240159076
Abstract: Pneumatically supported towers for low gravity applications are disclosed herein. In one aspect, an inflatable tower for use in vacuum environments can have a membrane configured to support a load when inflated with an inflation gas to a pressures less than 100,000 pascals and greater than 0.01 pascal. The inflation gas can be chosen to have a sufficiently low boiling temperature at the inflation pressure of the membrane that the gas will not condense to a liquid or solid within a defined range of temperatures in which the tower is designed to operate. The membrane can be configured to be packaged for transport in deflated condition and rolled onto cylinders from which the membrane can be later unfurled and inflated as part of the tower inflation process.

  • Publication number: 20240157828
Abstract: Implementations claimed and described herein provide systems and methods for generating instructions for a mobile electric vehicle (EV) charging station to meet an EV at a particular time and place. In one implementation, EV trip data including a remaining range of the EV and an intended route of the EV is collected to determine a range of locations that the EV can stop at along its route without running out of power. Instructions to one of the locations are generated for a mobile EV charging station that is a best fit for arriving at the particular location and for the EV to reach the same location.
