  • Patent number: 10422678
Abstract: Provided is a Coriolis flow sensor assembly that includes a fluid flow assembly, including a flow tube, wherein the fluid flow assembly is configured to provide a flow path through the flow tube. The flow tube has at least one region of increased stiffness, which may be a result of a structural support component coupled to the flow tube. In another embodiment, the increased stiffness is caused by integral properties of the flow tube.

  • Publication number: 20190254826
Abstract: The present invention describes methods, devices and instruments for resurfacing or replacing facet joints, uncovertebral joints and costovertebral joints. The joints can be prepared by smoothing the articular surface on one side, by distracting the joint and by implant insertion. Implants can be stabilized against a first articular surface by creating a high level of conformance with said first articular surface, while smoothing the second articular surface with a surgical instrument with a smooth mating implant surface.

  • Patent number: 10363543
Abstract: Fluid transport approaches are described that operate without the need for precise displacement of an actuator and with little or no sensing in the flow path. In certain implementations, a gas phase in a fluid reservoir is compressed by a pressure source such that releasing the pressure, such as by opening a valve to an intermediary conduit, displaces fluid to the intermediary chamber. Closing that fluid path and opening a different fluid path to a chamber at ambient temperature causes the fluid to be displaced to the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20180330499
Abstract: Methods of predicting bone or joint disease in a subject are disclosed. Methods of determining the effect of a candidate agent on any subject's risk of developing bone or joint disease are also disclosed. A method for generating a parameter map from a bone image of a subject includes obtaining the bone image of the subject, defining two or more regions of interest (ROIs) in the image, analyzing a plurality of positions in the ROIs to obtain measurements for one or more bone microarchitecture parameters and one or more bone macro-anatomy parameters, and generating the parameter map from the measurements.
