  • Patent number: 7959191
Abstract: An extension pole including an outer tube connected to a water source and an inner tube positioned in a telescoping relationship to the outer tube. The inner tube includes a series of spaced apart openings that are engaged by a biased locking member positioned on the end of the outer tube. The locking member may be manually released by activation of a release button connected to locking member, thereby allowing inner and outer tubes to be moved with respect to each other. The extension pole also includes a locking nut assembly positioned on the free end of the inner tube for attaching the tube to cleaning tool and preventing rotation of the cleaning tool during use.

  • Publication number: 20100304621
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention is a jumper cable clamp that is biased to a position with its jaws open. Another aspect of the present invention is a jumper cable clamp that uses biases open its jaws using torsional tension in a helical spring. Another aspect of the present invention is a jumper cable clamp that includes a set of jaws, a jaw-biasing hardware set and a ratchet hardware set where: (i) the jaw-biasing hardware set biases the jaws towards an open position; and (ii) the ratchet hardware set holds the position of the jaws at regular positional increments as the jaws are moved, against the bias provided by the jaw-biasing hardware set, towards a closed position. Preferably, the ratchet hardware set further includes a quick release mechanism structured, located, sized, shaped and/or mechanically connected to release a ratcheted engagement of the ratchet hardware set upon activation of the quick release mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7763046
Abstract: The present invention provides a device for applying pressure to a wearer of the device, that includes a band adapted for positioning on the wearer, an orb positioned on the band, and a mechanism for selectively varying the length that the orb extends outward from said band. The mechanism includes a dial that is mounted to the orb for user initiated selective rotation about its central axis. By rotating the dial, the orb moves towards or away from the band, thereby decreasing or increasing, respectively, the amount of pressure it will apply to the wearer.

  • Patent number: 7631385
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an automotive cleaning device that includes an elongated base member having a first end and a second end. A brush assembly is connected to the second end. The brush assembly includes three brush members connected to the base member at the second end. Each of the brush members includes a wire element having fill bristles attached thereto. The wire element is connected to the second end at a first terminating point and a second terminating point with a looped wire portion extending therebetween. The looped wire portions of the three brush members are disposed on the base member to thereby form a brush gap configured to accommodate a wheel lug nut.

  • Patent number: 7510128
Abstract: The present invention provides a detachable nozzle used for interconnecting a hose to a cleaning implement or for use as spray nozzle for a hose. The detachable nozzle extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a downstream end with an internally threaded neck adapted for connection to a hose and an upstream end with an externally threaded neck that is adapted for connection to a cleaning implement or from which water may be discharged. A spring biased actuating trigger engages a lever tied to a spring biased valve and is pivotally movable between its neutral position that places the valve in its closed position, to a fully closed position that places the valve in its fully open position.

  • Publication number: 20070280775
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a brush head device for cleaning an object with a cleaning fluid. The device includes a body assembly having an input port and a reservoir. The input port is configured to receive the cleaning fluid. The reservoir is configured to collect the cleaning fluid received by the input port. A valve assembly is disposed in the body member between the input port and the reservoir. The valve assembly includes a plurality of discrete flow control channels configured to regulate a flow of cleaning fluid between the input port and the reservoir. The valve assembly is actuatable between an OFF position and a plurality of discrete flow control positions. Each of the plurality of discrete flow control positions corresponds to one of the plurality of discrete flow control channels. A brush member is coupled to the body assembly and in fluidic communication with the reservoir. The brush member is configured to apply the cleaning fluid to the object.
