  • Patent number: 7144292
Abstract: The present invention provides a flying disc comprising a rigid or semi-rigid ring having upper and lower portions hingedly connected to one another, with each of the upper and lower surfaces including means for retaining a pliable body therebetween. For instance, a tortilla or similar food product characterized by its disc-like shape and flexible nature may be positioned between the upper and lower surfaces of the ring. The upper and lower portions include structure for securely retaining the flexible body therebetween.

  • Patent number: 6990705
Abstract: A multifunctional cleaning implement having a collapsible, telescoping handle interconnected to a head assembly. The head assembly includes front and back panels which interlock with or are integrally formed with cleaning implements, such as a squeegee, a brush, a sponge, and/or an ice scraper. The handle is pivotally interconnected by a sliding ball and socket joint to a channel in the head assembly so that it may be collapsed into a stored position within a cavity in the head assembly, or extended from the head assembly and pivoted into an open position perpendicular to the head assembly. A resilient member formed in the channel biases the ball joint to selectively maintain the handle in the open position.

  • Patent number: 6536971
Abstract: A wash mit assembly comprising a rigid or semi-rigid body, a hose coupling interconnected to the body, and a cloth removably connected to the body. The body includes an exterior surface that is generally concave in shape, a hose receiving recess formed in the exterior surface along its longitudinal axis, a strap extending transversely across the recess, and openings formed through opposing sides of the recess for receiving nozzles of the hose coupling therein. The cloth includes a drawstring stitched about its periphery and is removably connected to the body in complete covering relation to the body's inwardly facing surface. To connect the cloth to the body, the body is positioned on the cloth, and the drawstring of the cloth is pulled taut so that the edge of the body is encompassed within the edge of the cloth.

  • Publication number: 20010048205
Abstract: A truck assembly for a roller board which permits the user to simulate the effects of snow boarding or surfing through adjustments made to the plane in which the axle of the board extends. The present invention provides several types of nobules which may be mounted to the bottom surface of a board and which securely receive a curved axle therein. The nobule each include a curved, elongated slot which permits rotation of the nobule relative to the board, thereby twisting the axle a corresponding amount. When the axle twists, the plane in which it extends changes a corresponding amount relative to the board which, in effect, changes the responsiveness of the board so as to simulate the feel of traditional skate boarding, surfing, or snow boarding.

  • Patent number: 5553874
Abstract: A roller board apparatus, such as a skateboard, having an elongated user support platform and front and rear rigid, curve axels mounted transversly across one side of the platform adjacent the front and rear ends, respectively. The axels curve symmetrically outwardly away from the platform surface to which they are attached and respectively include a plurality of wheels rotatably mounted therealong, thereby creating, in essence, an arc of wheels. Resilient, rubber, wedge shaped spacers are positioned between each end of the axels and the platform, for the primary purpose of causing the axels to angle outwardly away from one another so as to provide stability to the board. The spacers resiliency permit the angle at which each angle sits with respect to the horizontal to be selectively chaned. Different angles produce different riding characteristics.
