  • Publication number: 20140113481
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first insulative housing defining a base member and a mating member extending forwardly from the base member in a mating direction, and a plurality of first contacts retained in the first housing. The mating member defines opposite first and second mating faces in a vertical direction perpendicular to said mating direction, and a receiving portion recessed towards the first mating face from the second mating face thereof. The receiving portion cooperates with a corresponding portion of a mating connector for preventing incorrect insertion of the electrical connector.

  • Publication number: 20140004744
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing defining a front and a rear and a first group of contacts. The housing includes a rear base and a front mating tongue defining a first face and a second face opposite to the first face. The first group of contacts is held in the first face of the front mating tongue, the contacts include grounding contacts and signal contacts, each contact includes a retained portion retained in the housing, a contacting portion exposed upon the first face and a connecting leg. The contacting portions of the grounding contacts electrically connect with each other, the retained portions of the grounding contacts electrical connect with each other to reduce electrical length of the electrical connector.

  • Patent number: 8341091
Abstract: A computer system may manage orders for goods from a plurality of purchasers. The computer system may receive the orders, calculate an approximate volume that the goods which are the subject of each order would collectively occupy during shipment, and compare each calculated approximate volume to a pre-determine maximum allowed volume that the purchaser of the order is permitted. The computer system may accept each order whose approximate volume does not exceed the maximum allowed volume for the purchaser of the order, or reject each order whose approximate volume exceeds this maximum allowed volume.
