    Abstract: An automatic transmission comprises a double-contrate-tooth combined fluted disc (120) and a two stage transmission ordinary gear train. The gear shifting mechanism of the transmission is the double-contrate-tooth combined fluted disc (120), which has double contrate teeth, namely, left contrate teeth and right contrate teeth. By the axial moving of the double-contrate-tooth combined fluted disc (120) on the transmission output shaft, its left contrate teeth and right contrate teeth respectively engage with the contrate teeth of the first gear and the second gear reduction gears, to realize the second shift position and the first shift position, and when it engages with neither of them, the transmission is in the neutral shift position. The processor receives an output voltage or an output current across the load generating a control signal accordingly. The driver receives the control signal through the coupling element and accordingly changes the ON/OFF state of the electronic switch, regulating the output voltage and the output current via the transformer, where the duration of the ON/OFF state of the electronic switch is determined between the moment control signal changes from negative to positive and the moment it changes from positive to negative to achieve a high-speed load transient response.

    Abstract: A method and system for selectively activating and deactivating secondary cells in a wireless communication system are disclosed. According to one aspect, the invention provides a finite state machine having a plurality of states facilitating secondary cell activation and deactivation decisions. The states of the finite state machine include a deactivated state and an activated state. In the deactivated state, a secondary cell is deactivated and a media access control element, MAC CE, for deactivation is sent to the UE. The base station in the deactivated state is not allocating resources for maintaining transmission on the secondary cell. In the activated state, the secondary cell is active and a MAC CE for activation is sent to the UE. In the activated state, the base station is ready to transmit on the secondary cell.

    Abstract: A system and method of selecting on-line advertisements in a real-time bidding exchange is disclosed. A bid request associated with a first data set is received. Advertisements are filtered based on each advertisement's campaign constraints as applied to the first data set. A heuristic score for each filtered advertisement is determined based on a small subset of features from the first data set or randomly generated. A bid value is then determined based on a substantial number of the features from the first data set only for each of a top fraction of filtered the advertisements that have the highest heuristic scores. A final bid value and its associated advertisement is selected and sent to a sender of the bid request for presenting in an on-line advertisement space as an impression.
