Publication number: 20250049240Abstract: A portable utensil holder for providing a utensil setting for a single diner, to serve as a convenient place to place a set of dining utensils for the diner that minimizes contact between the utensils and potentially unsanitary surfaces, for a healthier and more convenient dining experience. The utensil holder includes a set of recesses formed thereon, each shaped to accommodate a utensil of a corresponding type. The recesses are oriented parallel to each other and separated by intervening side walls, giving each utensil its own dedicated spot within the utensil holder. The recesses are connected by a groove oriented orthogonally to the recesses, allowing for utensils to be placed and retrieved while minimizing contact of the utensil head with potentially unsanitary surfaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2024Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventor: Piyush Kumar

Publication number: 20250048145Abstract: A communications system may include a user equipment (UE) device that communicates with a cellular network having base stations. A UE may enter a connected mode in which the UE and a first base station in a first cell convey wireless data. While in connected mode, the first base station may transmit measurement objects to the UE, each being associated with a different cell neighboring the first cell. The UE may store the measurement objects. When the UE enters an idle mode, the UE may perform measurements on the neighboring cells using the measurement objects. The UE may then use the measurements to determine whether to re-select to a neighbor cell when the UE is unable to acquire a measurement configuration from the base station in idle mode. This may help to mitigate the occurrence of idle mode out-of-service (OOS) conditions for the UE device.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2024Publication date: February 6, 2025Inventors: Anshul Kumar Gupta, Piyush Kumar Garg, B Raju A. Patent number: 12206759Abstract: A digital steganography system comprises a message sender in electronic communication with a message receiver through a social media platform. The message sender uses a compute device configured to conceal a secret digital message in the semantic components of a digitally synthesized image which is uploaded onto the social media platform and published in a social media post. As part of the message encoding process, the compute device for the message sender coverts the digital message into binary code, applies encryption and error-correction algorithms, and then implements image synthetization operations to yield the digitally synthesized image. The message receiver is provided with a compute device configured to identify the social media post, automatically download the synthesized image, and apply an inverse set of the image synthetization operations to yield binary code which is subsequently decoded and decrypted in order to extract the original covert message.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2021Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH, LLCInventors: Richard Ivey, Piyush Kumar

Patent number: 12014217Abstract: A resource control system is described that is configured to control scheduling of executable jobs by compute instances of a service provider system. In one example, the resource control system outputs a deployment user interface to obtain job information. Upon receipt of the job information, the resource control system communicates with a service provider system to obtain logs from compute instances implemented by the service provider system for the respective executable jobs. The resource control system uses data obtained from the logs to estimate utility indicating status of respective executable jobs and an amount of time to complete the executable jobs by respective compute instances. The resource control system then employs a machine-learning module to generate an action to be performed by compute instances for respective executable jobs.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2021Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignee: Adobe Inc.Inventors: Subrata Mitra, Sunav Choudhary, Shaddy Garg, Anuj Jitendra Diwan, Piyush Kumar Maurya, Arpit Aggarwal, Prateek Jain

Patent number: 11903027Abstract: The present disclosure relates to several techniques for reducing the occurrence of data collisions, which can occur when multiple devices simultaneously transmit data in the same (frequency) channel. For example, a turnaround time in which a device switches from a receive mode of operation to a transmit mode of operation may be reduced based on the device and another device indicating that they are capable of operating with a reduced turnaround. As another example, devices may use learning-based turnaround estimation to determine a turnaround time supported by other devices and utilize the determined turnaround time, for instance, instead of a longer turnaround time. As yet another example, multiple clear channel assessments may be performed before transmitting data. For instance, a first clear channel assessment may be performed during a backoff period, and a second clear channel assessment may be performed afterwards before data is transmitted.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2022Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Sarvesh Kumar Varatharajan, Arun Vijayakumari Mahasenan, Venkateswara Rao Manepalli, Won Soo Kim, Yaranama Venkata Ramana Dass, Giri Prassad Deivasigamani, Anil G Naik, Piyush Kumar Upadhyay

Patent number: 11698898Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to lock wait tracing. A computer system may operate a database that includes a lockable object. The computer may maintain a lock wait queue that stores an indication of processes waiting to acquire a lock on the lockable object. The computer system may store trace records for those processes that, upon releasing a respective lock on the lockable object when another process is waiting in the lock wait queue, have been in contention for the respective lock for over a threshold amount of time. The computer system may present ones of the trace records that identify a timeline that is usable to determine a set of processes that contributed to a delay in a process acquiring a lock on the lockable object.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2020Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: Salesforce, Inc.Inventors: Piyush Kumar Jain Mahendra Kumar, Mark F.
