  • Patent number: 10798178
Abstract: A network function (NF) entity in a communication network receives User Plane Function (UPF) registration information for a plurality of UPFs, the registration information including a respective network attribute for each UPF. The NF entity associates each UPF with a corresponding network based on the respective network attribute, and map one or more User Equipment (UE) to the corresponding network based on a security policy to create a UE-to-network table. The NF further receives a request to establish a session for a subsequent UE, the request including a subsequent UE identifier, and determine an access permission for the subsequent UE to access the corresponding network based on the subsequent UE identifier and the UE-to-network table. The NF selects one UPF from the plurality of UPF to service the session for the subsequent UE based on the access permission, and an association between the one UPF and the corresponding network.

Abstract: A Zn—Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) composition is added to a solution including a corrosion inhibitor and stirred, and a precipitate of the solution is collected, washed, and dried to form a corrosion inhibiting material (CIM), in which the LDH composition is intercalated with the corrosion inhibitor. An inorganic CIM and/or an organic CIM may be formed. The organic CIM may be added to a sol-gel composition to form an organic CIM-containing sol-gel composition, and the inorganic CIM may be added to a sol-gel composition to form an inorganic CIM-containing sol-gel composition. Further, the organic CIM-containing sol-gel composition may be applied on a substrate (e.g., an aluminum alloy substrate) to form an organic CIM-containing sol-gel layer and cured by ultraviolet (UV) radiation, the inorganic CIM-containing sol-gel composition may be applied on the substrate to form an inorganic CIM-containing sol-gel layer and cured by UV radiation, and the sol-gel layers may be thermally cured.

  • Publication number: 20200306635
Abstract: Systems and methods for recommending content based on gaming progress are disclosed herein. Video game performance data, which is based on performance of a video game using a computing device, is received from the computing device over a communication network. Control circuitry determines, based on a criterion stored in memory, whether the video game performance data indicates a failure to overcome a challenge in the video game. In response to determining that the video game performance data indicates a failure to overcome the challenge in the video game, the control circuitry identifies for recommendation an item of content associated with the challenge and transmits a recommendation of the identified item of content for display via the computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recommending content based on gaming progress are disclosed herein. A gaming log, which is generated based on performance of a video game using a computing device, is received from the computing device over a communication network. The gaming log includes an identifier of a segment of the video game and an attribute of the segment. Control circuitry searches metadata associated with items of content in a database to identify, based on the identifier of the segment or the attribute of the segment, an item of content associated with the segment of the video game. In response to identifying the item of content associated with the segment of the video game, the control circuitry transmits a recommendation of the identified item of content for display via the computing device.

  • Publication number: 20200312164
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and representing traffic maneuvers are provided. The method includes receiving traffic information for a neighbor traffic. The method may use the neighbor traffic information to calculate a volume around the neighbor traffic, defined by min max thresholds related to the traffic information. The traffic information is monitored until the default time elapses, to thereby determine a delta latitudinal position, a delta longitudinal position, a delta altitude, a delta pitch, and a delta roll, of the neighbor traffic during the default time; and a traffic maneuver is identified upon the occurrence of one or more of (i) the delta latitudinal position exceeded the maximum latitudinal threshold, (ii) the delta longitudinal position exceeded the maximum longitudinal threshold, and (iii) the delta altitude exceeded the magnitude of the maximum altitude threshold. An enhanced symbolic indicator of the traffic maneuver is rendered on a map image.

  • Publication number: 20200307844
Abstract: A tape closure system is shown and described herein. The tape closure system includes a first tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive and a second tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive, where at least one of the pressure sensitive adhesives has a modified surface to reduce the tack of the surface such that when the first and second pressure adhesives are brought into contact with one another they may sufficiently adhere to one another to form a seal but are still separable from one another and able to be repeatedly opened and sealed. Such a tape may be manufactured through high speed manufacturing processes and wound into large master rolls. In the roll configuration, the modified surface contacts the backside of the liner and experiences compressive forces in the roll. Due to the compressive forces, a part of the modified surface may get pushed into the PSA, thereby affecting the properties of the modified adhesive.
