Abstract: The invention discloses a method for providing a real time ringback tone in a communication network and the method includes: establishing a call connection between a calling party and a called party according to a received calling request; receiving a ringback tone indication value from the called party; obtaining a corresponding ringback tone according to the ringback tone indication value; and playing the corresponding ringback tone to the calling party. The invention further provides a system for providing a real time ringback tone in a communication network and a terminal therefor. By using the technology of the invention, a different ringback tone can be played to the calling user in real time according to the current situation. Therefore, individualized requirements of the user may be met and the quality of communication service may be further improved.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for providing presence information, including: setting a validity period of the presence information; publishing, by a presentity client, the received presence information and the validity period to a presence server; and distributing the received presence information and the validity period to a watcher client by the presence server. Thus, the watcher client knows the validity period of the presence information, such as an end time of a current presence time, and thereby selects timely an appropriate time for communication with the presentity client. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a start time of the current presence information, and thus the watcher client knows a duration of the current presence information of the presentity client. The present invention further discloses a system for providing presence information.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for publishing presence information, including: receiving, by a presence server, a message carrying presence information to be published sent from a delegated presentity client or application server; publishing the presence information in the message carrying presence information to be published according to delegation authorization rules upon determining that the presence information is published by delegation; sending the processed presence information to a watcher client. This invention also provides, a presence server and a presence information composing and publishing unit for publishing presence information. The invention makes it more flexible to publish presence information and enhances user' experience.

By recording a correlation between a watcher identity and a class in an authentication configuration information of a presentity for a watcher and making presence information related to a corresponding class in the presence information issued by the presentity, a presence server determines that presence information may be obtained by the watcher according to a correlation between classes and watcher identities and presence information.
