Abstract: “Non-book” documents such as user documents, enterprise documents, and other content are automatically converted into a format consistent with e-books, categorized, and presented through an e-reader application in a consistent manner to enhance e-reader experience. Content received from a variety of sources such as organizational data sources, professional or social network sources, and even a user's own domain is analyzed, reformatted for consistency with other e-reader content, and categorized. The user can use the e-reader application to read e-books, review professional or personal documents, magazine articles, etc. taking advantage of enhanced e-reader features such as context based searches, sharing, snippets, note taking, inking, and comparable ones.

Abstract: It is described a method and device for presenting release information. The method includes that: a total exposure of release information on a day is acquired in real time; and a current ratio for presenting release information is calculated according to the total exposure of release information on the day, and release information is presented according to the current ratio for presenting release information. With a technical solution as described, it is possible to distribute exposure of the release information reasonably according to a ratio for presenting adjusted in real time, allowing uniform and reasonable presenting of the release information.

Abstract: A clamping mechanism includes a supporting seat, a clamping assembly, and a pushing assembly. The clamping assembly includes a fixing member, four clamping members, and a limiting member. The fixing member is fixedly received in the supporting seat and defines a receiving hole therein. The four clamping members are partially received in the receiving hole and protrude out of the fixing member. The limiting member is sleeved around the four clamping members. The pushing assembly includes an adjusting seat, an elastic member, and a pushing member. The elastic member is received in the adjusting seat. The pushing member is partially received in the adjusting seat, and an end of the pushing member away from the adjusting seat is surrounded by the four clamping members and resists the four clamping members outwardly.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of detecting a bonding failure of a wire bonder, which comprises a bonding tool operative to form an electrical connection between a semiconductor die and a substrate using a bonding wire. The method comprises the steps of: forming a first wire bond on a first surface located on the semiconductor die using the bonding tool and the bonding wire; forming a second wire bond on a second surface located on the substrate using the bonding tool and the bonding wire such that a wire loop connects the first and second wire bonds, wherein the first surface is not electrically-conductive; moving the bonding tool in a direction away from the second wire bond to break the bonding wire from the second wire bond; detecting whether the second wire bond remains bonded to the substrate; and determining an occurrence of the bonding failure if the second wire bond is no longer bonded to the substrate.

Abstract: A substrate is provided, in a non-display area, with at least blocking member that is used to form at least one enclosed space with negative pressure together with another substrate; in the liquid crystal panel formed by cell assembling of the substrate and the other substrate, the two substrates after cell assembling are tightly bonded together due to the at least one enclosed space formed by the substrates and the at least one blocking member pressed by external atmospheric pressure. The design of the substrate and the liquid crystal panel in the embodiments of the present invention can avoid occurring of mis-alignment of substrates and improve the product yield rate of the liquid crystal panel.

Abstract: A high efficiency downfired gas water heater is provided which has a tank for storing water to be heated, a combustion chamber extending downwardly through a top end of the tank, and a gas burner operative to create hot combustion products within the combustion chamber. At the bottom end of the tank is a transfer chamber coupled to an external discharge conduit and to a single pass heat exchanger, in the form of multiple flue tubes. extending vertically through the tank and connected to the combustion chamber. In one embodiment of the water heater the burner is a power burner which forces the combustion products sequentially through the combustion chamber, heat exchanger, transfer chamber and discharge conduit. In another embodiment of the water heater a draft inducer fan is used to draw the combustion products through this path from the combustion chamber.

The clamping subassemblies are divided into two groups and are arranged and mounted adjacent to opposite sides of the loading assembly, and the sliding members are connected to the two groups of the at least two clamping subassemblies, respectively. The driver is capable of driving the sliding members to move away from or toward each other to enable the two groups of the clamping subassemblies to move toward or away from the loading assembly to clamp or release a workpiece on the loading assembly. The present invention further discloses a bonding device using the positioning mechanism.

Abstract: The described method and system provide an efficient routing of data packets protocol in an event-driven and delay-constrained WSN (wireless sensor network) that optimizes the sleep/wake schedule of nodes to maximize the lifetime of the WSM, subject to a constraint on the source-to-sink delay. Online forwarding techniques may be used to transfer data reports from monitoring nodes to the sink. A delay-constrained and energy-efficient routing protocol (DCEER) for asynchronous WSNs may be used to maximize the lifetime of the WSN while remaining within the maximum allowable delay requirements. With DCEER, each node may maintain the historical cost of forwarding a packet from itself to the sink as its virtual coordinate, and packets are forwarded in the direction of descending coordinates. The cost-based coordinates may change dynamically with a time-varying channel or topology.

Abstract: A method and device for detaching a user equipment (UE) are disclosed in the present invention. The UE is registered with a mobility management entity (MME) in a packet switched (PS) network and a mobile switching center (MSC) in a circuit switched (CS) network. When the UE needs to detach from the PS network, the MSC receives a Detach Request with a Detach Type indicating the detaching from the PS network only; after receiving the Detach Request, the MSC deletes the context of the PS core network entity and clears the connection between the MSC and the MME. An MME for performing UE detachment is also disclosed in the present invention. The present invention helps reduce the time delay during the subsequent handover and quickly provide users with communications services, so as to improve user's experience and meet the carriers' requirements.
