    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for verifying alternating current (AC)/direct current (DC) conversion of an ultralow-frequency voltage. The system includes a quantum voltage generation system, a low-frequency signal source, a follower, three switches, a double-heater-strip thermoelectric converter, a nanovoltmeter, a clock source, a high-precision digital sampling system, and an upper computer. Based on DC and AC quantum voltage technologies and with reference to the double-heater-strip thermoelectric converter, an ultralow-frequency voltage is traced to a DC quantum voltage through AC/DC conversion, and a conversion result is compared with an AC quantum voltage to verify rationality of precision and an uncertainty evaluation result of AC/DC conversion of the ultralow-frequency voltage, so as to ensure reliability of AC/DC conversion of the ultralow-frequency voltage. This resolves a problem that the AC/DC conversion result of the ultralow-frequency voltage cannot be verified.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a device for predicting ability of a temporary plugging agent to plug cracks and a storage medium, and includes the following steps: calculating a plane elastic modulus of a core through experiments, acquiring a maximum force load of a specimen, calculating rock fracture toughness through the maximum force load, manufacturing an artificial crack model and placing it in a core holder, preparing temporary plugging deflection fluid by selecting a temporary plugging agent, injecting the temporary plugging deflection fluid into the artificial crack so as to calculate apparent fracture toughness of the temporarily plugged crack, and finally calculating a fracture pressure of the temporarily plugged crack based on the calculated rock fracture toughness and the plane elastic modulus of the core. Through the above method, the present disclosure provides a standard fracture pressure calculation method.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a sight with a momentary switch to control a laser beam on the sight may include a main power switch, a switch with momentary sensor, a plurality of locking screw to lock the sight onto a firearm, an orifice for emitting laser beams, a charging socket, and a laser adjustment screw. When in use, the user can press the main power switch to turn on the sight. In one embodiment, the switch with momentary sensor can emit infrared light and if the infrared light is deflected, the laser beam will be turned off. So, if the user wants to turn off the laser beam, the user can simply move the finger toward the momentary sensor to somewhat covers the momentary sensor to deflect the infrared light emitting therein.

The unnatural amino acid-based ionic liquids can improve the read-through efficiency of the genetic codon expansion system for a premature termination codon (PTC) and/or the incorporation efficiency of unnatural amino acids.

The interior fining chamber is maintained at subatmospheric pressure and the housing is surrounded by at least one induction coil (74, 1074) to introduce heat into the molten glass bath. The vacuum maintained in the interior fining chamber and the heating supplied by the induction coil(s) promote the ascension of gas bubbles upwards through the molten glass bath. A glass-producing system that includes the vacuum induction fining apparatus is also disclosed.

The driving module provides power with high power density via a brushless motor and is provided with two stages of deceleration to amplify the torque provided by the brushless motor. The first stage of deceleration is performed by a synchronous wheel set, and the second stage of deceleration is performed by a gear set. A driving push rod is used to transmit the power provided by the brushless motor to the biomimetic bouncing legs.

    Abstract: A network system dynamically determines a route, including start and end points, for vehicles in a transportation network. The transportation network receives a service request from a user of the transportation network including an origin location for the trip and a destination location for the trip. The transportation network then generates a waypoint plan for one or more vehicles, which includes the requested origin and destination in addition to any previously requested origins and destinations included in the vehicles current route. The network system then determines a directionality for each of the waypoints in the waypoint plan and retrieves candidate start and end points that have an associated directionality within a threshold angle of the directionality of each waypoint and are proximate to the waypoint. The network system evaluates each combination of retrieved candidate points to select a route for the vehicle.
