  • Publication number: 20240061968
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to design a terrain surface. A triangular surface mesh in three-dimensions representative of an existing surface is obtained. One or more constraints to control the triangular surface mesh are specified. The specifying includes defining multiple basic grading element constraints that are constraints on surface points of the existing surface, and combining such constraints into a complex grading element constraint that matches a real world grading behavior. Drainage for the triangular surface mesh is automatically determined based on the complex grading element constraint.

  • Patent number: 11816396
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to design a terrain surface. A triangular surface mesh representative of an existing surface is obtained. One or more constraints to control the triangular surface mesh are specified. Drainage for the triangular surface mesh is automatically determined based on the constraints. The triangular surface mesh is optimized based on the drainage and one or more design options. The optimizing modifies the triangular surface mesh to define drainage flow for the drainage.

  • Patent number: 11501423
Abstract: A method for encoding dot-matrix product information method includes identifying, via a processor, a dot-matrix grid size. The method further includes evaluating, via the processor, one or more dot pattern variation levels. In some aspects, the method includes retrieving, via the processor, an encoding structure indicative of a plurality of product information attributes. The method also includes determining, via the processor, whether an alpha-numeric digit at a dot pattern variation level can include a plurality of product information. The method further includes outputting, via the processor, a dot pattern code map. In some aspects, the dot pattern code map is indicative of a relationship between each of the product information attributes and the plurality of values for each of the product information attributes.

  • Patent number: 10373103
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for matching an address to an optimal station for package delivery. Responsive to the at least one keyword k appearing in a substring of an address addr associated with a package to be delivered appearing in a keyword to station probability matrix associated with a city and/or district associated with the address addr associated with the package, for a set of keywords k in the substring of the address addr and station s of the city and/or district, a determination is made of a priority value function v that represents the priority of the combination of keyword k and station s. A critical keyword k* and optimal station s* is identified and the optimal station s* with a maximum determined value for delivery of the package is reported.
