Abstract: A display device is coupled to a computer, and the computer accommodates a motherboard. The display device includes an interface unit connected to the motherboard, a display panel, and a processor electrically coupled to the interface unit. The processor is used to: receive a power-on self test (POST) code from the motherboard via the interface unit, convert the POST code into a debug code, and control the display panel to display the debug code.

Abstract: A test apparatus and a method are provided for testing a peripheral component interconnect (PCIE) slot by simulating the disconnection and reconnection of a device in the slot. The test apparatus detects whether a PCIE slot is in fact connected to an external device, and if so simulates an action of removing the external device from the PCIE slot and an action of re-inserting the apparently removed external device back into the PCIE slot to test the slot, thereby replacing any manual disconnection and reconnection.

Abstract: A device includes a main body and a control circuit received in the main body. The main body includes three push buttons and a display. The control circuit includes a parameter setting unit, a rotation speed detection unit, and a display unit. The push buttons are operated to input signals to the parameter setting unit. The parameter setting unit generates and saves a reference value according to the signals received from the push buttons, and outputs the reference value to the display unit. The rotation speed detection unit detects an actual rotation speed of a fan, and outputs the actual rotation speed to the display unit. The display unit controls the display to display the reference value and the actual rotation speed.

Abstract: A management system for controlling a communication between a baseboard management controller (BMC) and a basic input/output system (BIOS) coupled to a platform controller hub (PCH), includes a network chip coupled to the BMC, a switch unit configured to control connection between the BIOS and the BMC, and a control unit to output a first control signal or a second control signal to the switch unit. When the control unit outputs the first control signal to the switch unit, the switch unit enables the communication between the BIOS and the network chip. When the control unit outputs the second control signal to the switch unit, the switch unit disables the communication between the BIOS and the network chip.

Abstract: A Universal Serial Bus (USB) hub includes a USB input, a number of USB outputs, a USB controller, a power processing module, and an alarm. The USB controller controls data transmission between a connected USB device connected to the USB output and a computer. The power processing module obtains a power of each USB output and sums the power of all the USB outputs. The power processing module further compares a preset power value with the sum of the power. When the sum of the power is greater than the preset power value, the power processing module outputs a control signal to activate the alarm.

Abstract: An ionization device used in an evaporation deposition device includes a main body, and an electron-beam system, a magnetic field generator all mounted to the main body. The main body includes a peripheral wall and a cavity enclosing by the peripheral wall. The electron-beam system includes an electric filament. The electric filament connects with a first power source. The electric filament and the main body connect with a direct current power source. The magnetic field generator includes a coil and a second power source connecting with the coil. An evaporation deposition device using the ionization device is also described.

Abstract: An adaptor failure tolerance test device includes a first connection module, a second connection module, a teaming control module, and a connection control module. The first connection module includes eight first interfaces configured for connecting to a plurality of respective adaptors of a network server. The second connection module includes eight second interfaces configured for connecting to a switch. The teaming control module includes eight first switches, each of which is connected to a corresponding first interface. The connection control module includes eight second switches and a control unit. Each of the second switches is interposed between a corresponding first switch and a corresponding second interface. The control unit is configured for detecting which first switches are turned on and turning on the second switches corresponding to the first switches which are turned on for a predetermined time period.

Abstract: A testing device is capable of simulating plugging and unplugging operations in relation to an USB port of an electronic device. The testing device comprises a processing unit to detect an electrical connection between the testing device and the USB port, and to control an indicator to cycle between a state of recognizability and a state of unrecognizability even though a physical connection to the USB port of the electronic device exists at all times. The state of recognizability indicates the testing device is capable of being recognized by the electronic device, and the state of unrecognizability indicates the testing device is incapable of being recognized by the electronic device. Reading and writing tests are carried out by the testing device each time that recognizability is indicated, to repeatedly test the integrity of the USB port being tested.

The second signal transceiver receives the first wireless signal and decodes the first wireless signal into the first password. The processor sends the first password and the second password to the comparator. The comparator compares whether the first password second password match, and thus to control the main body to physically lock or unlock the device.

Abstract: An exemplary testing device includes a RAID unit including under test disk drives, a replacing unit including a reserve disk drive, a switching unit, a state recognition unit and a control unit. The switching unit includes buttons corresponding to the under test disk drives, respectively.
