A device in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a plurality of interconnected struts forming a unitary structure having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The struts can form a plurality of first cells in the proximal portion and a plurality of second cells, smaller than the first cells, in the distal portion. The device can be pulled against clot material within a blood vessel to engage, disrupt, and/or capture the clot material.

The container comprises a base (1), a rear wall (2) connected to the base, and a pair of upstanding side walls decreasing in height from the rear wall to the opposite end of the base. Each side wall is formed of two side wall panels (4, 6) connected at an edge of the base and connected by a hinge joint. From a fold-flat configuration, folding of the rear wall (2) away from the base (1) causes the side wall panels (4, 6) to be folded inwardly into the erected configuration. The container may have an integral lid (8). The invention also extends to a method of making a blank using a sequence of cuts to create unsupported file regions.

    Abstract: A method that may be computer implemented converts a tensor value from a first format to a second format and trains a neural network. The method determines a maximum exponent code in the first format and subtracts a first bias to obtain the highest needed exponent. It determines a second bias from the highest available code (HAC) in the second format and the HNE, and converts the tensor value from the first format to the second format by using the second bias instead of the first bias. The method uses the second format to train the neural network. The method may round the mantissa of the tensor value in the first format to obtain a rounded mantissa of the tensor value for the second format.

    Abstract: A wide-stopband high-frequency band-pass filter using L-shaped slotted microstrip resonators, where the filter's nearest spurious frequency is approximately 3.5 times the center frequency f0. The filter consists of the following components: dielectric substrate, copper layer, L-shaped slotted microstrip resonators, 50-Ohm impedance microstrip lines, and high-frequency connectors. The microstrip filter is implemented on a two-layer printed circuit board, designed by resonantly coupling the L-shaped slotted microstrip lines. It features a compact size and a wide stopband using a completely new resonant pattern, the L-shaped slotted microstrip line, which creates a filter with a wide stopband of approximately 2.5 f0. This design is significantly smaller than conventional filters at the same frequency that have a narrower stopband. The input and output high-frequency connectors are directly connected to the resonator through inductive or capacitive coupling via the 50-Ohm impedance line.

    Abstract: In a very long instruction word (VLIW) central processing unit instructions are grouped into execute packets that execute in parallel. A constant may be specified or extended by bits in a constant extension instruction in the same execute packet. If an instruction includes an indication of constant extension, the decoder employs bits of a constant extension instruction to extend the constant of an immediate field. Two or more constant extension slots are permitted in each execute packet, each extending constants for a different predetermined subset of functional unit instructions. In an alternative embodiment, more than one functional unit may have constants extended from the same constant extension instruction employing the same extended bits. A long extended constant may be formed using the extension bits of two constant extension instructions.

The cap button has a helical drive shaft extending down into a cap cavity and through a drive platform aperture in a rotating drive platform that rotates the rotating drive platform when the cap button is pressed. The stirring shaft extends from the rotating drive platform opposite the cap button. A spring in the actuation chamber between the cap button and the rotating drive platform returns the cap button to a ready position.
