    Abstract: Computing devices, such as mobile computing devices, have access to one or more image sensors that can capture images and video with multiple subjects. Some of these subjects may vary in priority for various tasks. It may be desired to increase or decrease the compression on each subject in order to more efficiently store the image data. Low-power, fast-response machine learning logic can be configured to allow for the generation of a plurality of inference data. Inference data can be associated with the type, motion and/or priority of the subjects as desired. This inference data can be utilized along with other subject data to generate one or more variable compression regions within the image data. The image data can be subsequently processed to compress different areas of the image based on a desired application. The variably compressed image can reduce file sizes and allow for more efficient storage and processing.

    Abstract: Semiconductor die assemblies with flexible interconnects, and associated methods and systems are disclosed. The semiconductor die assembly includes a package substrate and a semiconductor die attached to the package substrate through the flexible interconnects. The flexible interconnects include one or more rigid sections and one or more flexible sections, each of which is disposed next to the rigid sections. The flexible sections may include malleable materials with relatively low melting temperatures (e.g., having relatively low modulus at elevated temperatures) such that the flexible interconnects can have reduced flexural stiffness during the assembly process. The malleable materials of the flexible interconnects, through plastic deformation in response to stress generated during the assembly process, may facilitate portions of the flexible interconnects to shift so as to reduce transfer of the stress to other parts of the semiconductor die assembly-e.g., circuitry of the semiconductor die.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for Uplink Control Information (UCI) design. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a matrix comprising a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantizing a channel between the terminal device and a network device, the matrix having spatial components and frequency components; shifting the frequency components of the matrix circularly, such that a target coefficient of the set of non-zero linear combination coefficients is located in a frequency component with a predetermined index of the frequency components in a shifted matrix; generating a first indication indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix; and transmitting, to the network device, uplink control information comprising the first indication. In this way, a new solution for designing the UCI may reduce the overhead for reporting the parameters in the UCI.

A UE may also receive from a network a list of PLMNs and SNPNs that are equivalent then, when registering, indicate to the network that a requested slice is not associated with the UE's HPLMN, but is associated with an SNPN. The network may indicate to the UE how the slices of the network map to the slices of the SNPN, and may indicate whether a slice that is offered by the network only partially maps to a slice of the SNPN or HPLMN.
