  • Publication number: 20090282152
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for preventing the counterfeiting of a network-side Media Access Control (MAC) address. The method includes: receiving a message from a user equipment (UE) and resolving the message from the UE in order to obtain a MAC address of the UE; learning the MAC address of the UE if the MAC address of the UE is different from a known MAC address of a network-side equipment; learning the MAC address of the network-side equipment; and generating a MAC address learning table by utilizing the learned MAC address of the network-side equipment and setting the MAC address learning table to be a static address table, and/or filtering messages having source MAC addresses being the MAC address of the network-side equipment and from other user-side ports by utilizing the learned MAC address of the network-side equipment.

  • Patent number: 7535797
Abstract: An ultrasound method of measuring displacement with high resolution includes transmitting a pair of Golay's complementary sequences or other complementary sequences, receiving echoes from the object and performing pulse compression of the two sequences of echoes. The displacement of the object between the two transmissions is derived from the residual clutter signals around the mainlobe of the compressed pulse output. Furthermore, movement velocity, thickness, strain, elastic stiffness, and viscous damping of the object or regions of the object can be determined subsequently.

  • Publication number: 20090037801
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of generating a document, the method including the steps of: recording information of operating an information technology system; putting the information into a document model; and generating the document by mapping the information in the document model. The present invention further discloses a system of generating a document. According to the present invention, the producer of user manual needs to operate an IT system once only, then the user manual of the IT system will be automatically generated. Thus, the producer of the user manual does not have to do repetitive and tedious work any longer, and a large amount of producing time is saved accordingly. Moreover, the style of the user manual can be defined by the producer. According to the present invention, user manuals in different language versions can be easily generated. The generated user manual has a standard format.

  • Publication number: 20080262815
Abstract: Provides processing logic modeling and executing methods, systems and apparatus. These facilitate collaboration between business analyst and IT staff for process modeling and maintenance of the consistency between business level design and IT implementation design. A task is decomposed into sub-tasks and is represented by a tree. Annotations to the nodes of the tree are used to represent the relations between the sub-tasks. A processing logic is thus completed. When executing the processing logic, traversing the tree follows according to the annotations.

  • Publication number: 20080194997
Abstract: A system and method are provided for in vivo, noninvasive diagnosis of patellar and scapular malalignment and maltracking. The patellar system and method include a patella-engaging apparatus and a motion analysis system. The patella-engaging apparatus includes a member that has a custom-contoured posterior surface that is configured to engage an anterior surface of a subject's patella. A plurality of markers is coupled with the anterior surface of the member and the motion analysis system optically tracks the plurality of markers. The system and method may optionally include a second portion such as a goniometer that tracks relative movement of the tibial and femoral portions of the subject's leg proximate to the patella. The member that has the custom-contoured posterior surface may be employed in a method and system for treating malalignment and maltracking, and a method for evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of the same.
