Abstract: Example embodiments of the compositions for manicures and nail enhancements and methods of use disclosed herein include applying a colored base coat and dipping the nails in a clear acrylic powder. Instead of creating hundreds of colors of powder, the dipping glue/powder manicure and nail enhancement may be accomplished by applying colored base coats on a nail of a finger (or toe) and then dipping the nail into clear acrylic powder or applying clear acrylic powder onto base coat. Colored base coats 120 may be made of a glue base including a pigment and other ornamental attributes. The glue base may include cyanoacrylate.

Abstract: A nail polish color formulation machine comprises a processing device; at least one plunger; at least one nail polish cartridge having a syringe-like dimensions with a plunger receiving opening at a proximal end and an outlet opening at a distal end. The nail polish cartridges are configured to receive a plunger and the plunger is designed to move up and down inside nail polish cartridge. The nail polish color formulation machine comprises at least one motor that is mechanically coupled to the at least one plunger to move the plunger vertically up and down, and open/close devices that close the outlet openings of the nail polish cartridges responsive to not having a nail polish bottle on the open/close device. The nail polish color formulation machine receives a desired nail polish color, and actuates the motors to move the plungers up and down inside the nail polish cartridges.

The base is configured to contain the basin, with the base having a front wall and a top wall. The at least one inlet vent is located in the base for receiving air, and the ventilating system is configured to circulate air. The system has pipes connecting the at least one inlet vent, with the pipes connecting to an exit pipe.

Abstract: A representative spa apparatus includes a basin having a drainage opening. The drainage opening is located at the lowest point of the basin so that water can be drained. The spa apparatus further includes a basin structure that houses the basin, a chair that is attached to the basin structure and a fluid drainage system that includes a drainage element and an external control element. The drainage element is coupled to the drainage opening and the external control element controls the drainage element to open and shut the drainage opening. The external control element is attached to the basin structure remote from the basin.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of systems and methods directed to a pedicure spa apparatus. A pedicure spa can include a basin having an embedded light aperture on a first interior surface of the basin. The embedded light aperture can further includes a light passing layer configured to fluidically seal the embedded light aperture and be substantially seamless with the first interior surface of the basin. The pedicure spa can also include a water agitation device coupled to an interior surface of the basin and a magnetic actuator coupled to an opposing surface of the interior surface.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for making a base of a spa apparatus to resemble artificial rocks and wood. In one embodiment, the method is comprised of the following steps: making a mold in which its inner surface has the shape and surface texture of a rock or wood; placing a first structure on the inner surface of the mold, the first structure being operative to prevent warping of the base; spraying polymer on the mold; allowing the polymer to harden; and removing the hardened polymer from the mold, the hardened polymer having substantially the shape and surface texture of rock or wood.
