  • Patent number: 11421376
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an active fiber with a piezoelectric layer that has a crystallization temperature that is greater than a melt or draw temperature of the fiber and methods of forming such active fibers. According to an embodiment, a first electrode is formed over an outer surface of a fiber. Embodiments may then include depositing a first amorphous piezoelectric layer over the first electrode. Thereafter, the first amorphous piezoelectric layer may be crystallized with a pulsed laser annealing process to form a first crystallized piezoelectric layer. In an embodiment, the pulsed laser annealing process may include exposing the first amorphous piezoelectric layer to radiation from an excimer laser with an energy density between approximately 10 and 100 mJ/cm2 and pulse width between approximately 10 and 50 nanoseconds. Embodiments may also include forming a second electrode over an outer surface of the crystallized piezoelectric layer.

Abstract: A method for generating fault modes and effects analysis for a vehicular advanced driver-assistance system includes providing a vehicle equipped with an advanced driver-assistance system, determining a plurality of system components of the advanced driver-assistance system, and determining fault propagation paths between each of the system components. Internal component fault propagations of each of the system components of the plurality of system components are determined. Inter-component failure propagations along each of the determined fault propagation paths are determined. Each of (i) a severity of failure for each system component, (ii) a probability of failure occurrence for each system component, and (iii) a detectability of failure for each system component is determined. A critical item list report is generated based at least in part on the determined severity of failure, the determined probability of failure occurrence, and the determined detectability of failure.

  • Publication number: 20220207137
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for detecting abnormal system call sequences in a monitored computing environment. The mechanisms receive, from a computing system resource of the monitored computing environment, a system call of an observed system call sequence for evaluation. A trained recurrent neural network (RNN), trained to predict system call sequences, processes the system call to generate a prediction of a subsequent system call in a predicted system call sequence. Abnormal call sequence logic compares the subsequent system call in the predicted system call sequence to an observed system call in the observed system call sequence and identifies a difference between the predicted system call sequence and the observed system call sequence based on results of the comparing. The abnormal call sequence logic generates an alert notification in response to identifying the difference.

  • Publication number: 20220116498
Abstract: A deployment server system may dynamically generate a user interface for a mobile application. The mobile application may comprise a set of interface pages and a set of workflow steps, and each workflow step may define a transition from a first interface page to a second interface page. The deployment server system obtains, from a mobile device, a workflow step request. The workflow step may include a transition from the interface page and transition data determined based on the interface page. The deployment server system determines a second interface page based on the interface page and transition data indicated in the workflow step request, generates a unit test for the second interface page. The deployment system validates the workflow step request by testing the second interface page using the generated unit test, and based on successfully validating the workflow step request, the deployment server may transmit the second interface page.
