  • Publication number: 20230269322
Abstract: A deployment server system may dynamically generate a user interface for a mobile application. The mobile application may comprise a set of interface pages and a set of workflow steps, and each workflow step may define a transition from a first interface page to a second interface page. The deployment server system obtains, from a mobile device, a workflow step request. The workflow step may include a transition from the interface page and transition data determined based on the interface page. The deployment server system determines a second interface page based on the interface page and transition data indicated in the workflow step request, generates a unit test for the second interface page. The deployment system validates the workflow step request by testing the second interface page using the generated unit test, and based on successfully validating the workflow step request, the deployment server may transmit the second interface page.

  • Publication number: 20230209418
Abstract: A method for managing wireless connections in a network with a computer controller and plurality of access points (APs) uses an industry-standard protocol to determine client roaming and location. When a smartphone connects to one of the APs, neighboring APs can be quickly identified. The controller triggers the smartphone to probe neighboring APs and collects signal strength information and generates a map. The controller estimates the relative location of the smartphone among the APs and decides whether to steer the smartphone to a different AP based on signal strength and/or other variables.

An exemplary system for providing media clips to users includes a database comprising a list of rules associated with a plurality of programs, as well as a first server and a second server. The first server receives information about a particular program being viewed by a media player and obtains rules from the database for the identified program that are transmitted to the media player. The second server receives a media clip of the particular program being viewed from the media player, wherein the media clip is created at the media player in accordance with the rules corresponding to the program, and subsequently makes the media clip available to the users.

  • Patent number: 11664097
Abstract: Hospital readmissions may be prevented. Readmission is prevented by predicting the probability of a given patient to be readmitted. The probability alone may prevent readmission by educating the patient or medical professional. The probability may be predicted during a patient stay and used to generate a workflow action item to reduce the probability, to warn, to output appropriate instructions, and/or assist in avoiding readmission. The probability may be specific to a hospital, physician group, or other entity, allowing prevention to focus on past readmission causes for the given entity.

  • Publication number: 20220371144
Abstract: A method of providing cueing signals to a user of a tool. Engagement sensors are positioned, for obtaining engagement data regarding the user's engagement with the tool. The engagement data is compared to a preselected acceptable range of engagement data. If the engagement data is outside the preselected acceptable range of engagement data, then an alert signal is transmitted to an alert device. Upon receipt of the alert signal, the alert device generates a cueing alert signal to indicate that the engagement data is outside the preselected acceptable range.

  • Publication number: 20220376515
Abstract: A power architecture that uses an efficient intermediate power conversion stage between AC adaptor (and battery charger) and subsequent voltage regulators (VRs) (e.g., core VR) for processors for higher overall efficiency allowing for higher performance in a given thermal envelope and iso-system input power. Power losses from both the charger and the core VR are reduced by splitting the power as power to sustained high-power rails, and power to the rest of the platform power rails that have low residency in high-power states. The sustained high-power rails are placed under an intermediate power conversion topology which is directly powered by the adaptor. The rest of the rails along with charging of the battery are powered by the battery charger.

  • Patent number: 11421376
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an active fiber with a piezoelectric layer that has a crystallization temperature that is greater than a melt or draw temperature of the fiber and methods of forming such active fibers. According to an embodiment, a first electrode is formed over an outer surface of a fiber. Embodiments may then include depositing a first amorphous piezoelectric layer over the first electrode. Thereafter, the first amorphous piezoelectric layer may be crystallized with a pulsed laser annealing process to form a first crystallized piezoelectric layer. In an embodiment, the pulsed laser annealing process may include exposing the first amorphous piezoelectric layer to radiation from an excimer laser with an energy density between approximately 10 and 100 mJ/cm2 and pulse width between approximately 10 and 50 nanoseconds. Embodiments may also include forming a second electrode over an outer surface of the crystallized piezoelectric layer.

  • Publication number: 20220230485
Abstract: A method for generating fault modes and effects analysis for a vehicular advanced driver-assistance system includes providing a vehicle equipped with an advanced driver-assistance system, determining a plurality of system components of the advanced driver-assistance system, and determining fault propagation paths between each of the system components. Internal component fault propagations of each of the system components of the plurality of system components are determined. Inter-component failure propagations along each of the determined fault propagation paths are determined. Each of (i) a severity of failure for each system component, (ii) a probability of failure occurrence for each system component, and (iii) a detectability of failure for each system component is determined. A critical item list report is generated based at least in part on the determined severity of failure, the determined probability of failure occurrence, and the determined detectability of failure.
