  • Patent number: 11561671
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for leveraging machine learning to deliver time-sensitive media content offers to a consumer over an optimal device and channel. In an implementation, a server system transmits media content offers over an optimal device and channel to a user. The server system captures metadata of at least one of: the user's use of multiple devices, the user's media content preferences, the user's preferred transmission channels for receiving media content offers over the multiple devices, and the user's preferred times for receiving media content offers. The server system prepares a media content offer for transmission to the user. Based on the captured metadata, the server system selects a user device of the multiple user devices and a transmission channel of multiple transmission channels to transmit the media content offer; and transmits the media content offer to the selected user device over the selected transmission channel.

  • Patent number: 11543774
Abstract: Various examples of out-of-plane multicolor waveguide holography systems, methods of manufacture, and methods of use are described herein. In some examples, a multicolor waveguide holography system includes a planar waveguide to convey optical radiation between a grating coupler and a metasurface hologram. The grating coupler may be configured to couple out-of-plane optical radiation of three different color incident at three different angles into the planar waveguide. The combined multicolor optical radiation may be conveyed by the waveguide to the metasurface hologram. The metasurface hologram may diffractively decouple the three colors of optical radiation for off-plane propagation to form a multicolor holographic image in free space.

  • Publication number: 20220373334
Abstract: Methods and systems are described that enable world geodetic system (WGS) to cartesian coordinate conversion for driving. A path of a vehicle comprising lane-group segments (LGSs) is received. The LGSs comprise respective origins in WGS coordinates, respective path points in WGS coordinates; and respective groups of constants. For a first of the LGSs, global cartesian path coordinates are calculated, based on modified Bowring techniques, for the path points of the first LGS. The coordinates are calculated using the constants of the first LGS and respective differences between the path points of the first LGS and an origin of the first LGS. The vehicle can navigate along the path using the global cartesian path coordinates calculated for the first LGS. By using modified Bowring techniques and pre-calculated constants for each LGS of the path, accuracy can be maintained over long distances and across boundaries without requiring substantial computational overhead.
