  • Patent number: 10842022
Abstract: A multilayer flexible electronics platform is an apparatus that allows modular thin-film electronics to be integrated into everyday flexible, flat objects such as pieces of clothing, material coatings, or wearable devices. The apparatus includes a flexible water-impermeable envelop, a flexible power-source layer, a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) layer, and a flexible accessory-interfacing layer. The flexible accessory-interfacing layer allows those modular thin-film electronics to be electronically and electrically attached to the apparatus. The flexible PCB layer allows the apparatus to control and manage those modular thin-film electronics. The flexible power-source layer is used to provide electrical power to those modular thin-film electronics. The flexible water-impermeable envelop protectively encloses those modular thin-film electronics and the aforementioned functional layers of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10636007
Abstract: A system and method for performing data-based optimization of performance indicators of process and manufacturing plants. The system consists of modules for collecting and merging data from industrial processing units, pre-processing the data to remove outliers and missingness. Further, the system generates customized outputs from data and identifies important variables that affect a given process performance indicator. The system also builds predictive models for key performance indicators comprising the important features and determines operating points for optimizing the key performance indicators with minimum user intervention. In particular, the system receives inputs from users on the key performance indicators to be optimized and notifies the users of outputs from various steps in the analysis that help the users to effectively manage the analysis and take appropriate operational decisions.

  • Publication number: 20180107450
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to data preprocessing, and more particularly to implementing data pre-processing through outlier analysis and multivariate imputation process. In one embodiment, the method includes performing iterations for processing integrated data associated with a manufacturing process. Each iteration comprises removing outliers from the integrated data using a multi-level outlier model to obtain a filtered data. The filtered data is categorized into multiple categories to identify missing data based on a frequency of occurrence of various parameters. Missing data is selectively imputed based on the multiple categories to obtain imputed data which is clustered into various data clusters based on a predefined criteria. After every iteration, it is determined whether the imputed data associated with a current iteration is clustered into the same data clusters as associated with a previous iteration.

  • Publication number: 20160061145
Abstract: A system for controlling flow unsteadiness and noise reduction. One or more microjets are placed around the periphery of a jet nozzle in conjunction with a porous surface acting as the impingement surface. As an aircraft is taking off or landing, vertically, the microjets are activated to inject a stream of high-velocity fluid into the shear layer of the main jet at an angle from the main jet centerline. The microjets disrupt the feedback phenomenon, reducing the resonant-dominated aspect of the flow while the porous surface breaks up the coherence of the jet and reduces the broadband noise of the flow.

  • Patent number: 8903883
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for pattern-based archiving of business events on a middleware server. The method performs pattern-based archiving of business events on a middleware server by: interpreting a user-specified naming pattern for labeling event archive structures, each event archive structure corresponding to an event; detecting the occurrence of a middleware event triggered by a business process; generating an archive filename based on the user-specified naming pattern, the filename comprising data from the event; and providing the filename to an event storage module for saving an archive file with the filename. The archiving method allows users to review archived files such that the filename provides a context for the archive document, and users can more easily find specific documents.
