  • Patent number: 9563961
Abstract: A method and an application server are provided for processing an image. The application server comprising an image processing unit processes an image by segmenting into first segmented layer and a second segmented layer. The image processing unit identifies one or more regions in the first segmented layer and for a coordinate in the identified region a vicinity check condition is performed in the second segmented layer. The image processing unit compares a first size of identified region with at least an average size of the set of text components in the second segmented layer. Further, the image processing unit merges the identified region with the second segmented layer to get a processed image.

  • Publication number: 20160313888
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing a graphical user interface on a client device are presented. The graphical user interface is configurable to operate in various operating modes. In a first operating mode, the graphical user interface displays search results received in a response to a search query. In a second operating mode, the graphical user interface displays individual search results, along with a primary image associated with the individual search result. In the second operating mode, a user may designate one or more search results for later review. Accordingly, in the third operating mode, the graphical user interface presents those search results that the user saved for review. While in the third operating mode, the user can choose whether to keep or remove a saved search result. Kept search results may then be purchased via the client device or from a different device if desired.

  • Patent number: 9432825
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for integrating a gateway in a telecom network environment with charging and payment functionality. The gateway is provided with three points of integration with charging and billing servers. These three points include a payment service, a charging data record listener and a credit control interceptor. The payment service provides an interface for client applications that reside outside of the telecom network to invoke a charging request, to translate the charging request and to relay it to the billing server. The charging data record listener listens for charging data records generated within the gateway and issues offline charging requests to the billing server upon detecting that a particular charging data record has been generated. The credit control interceptor intercepts requests in the communication traffic flowing through the gateway and initiates online charging requests to the billing server upon intercepting said requests.

  • Publication number: 20160182275
Abstract: A device may receive health information associated with a network circuit included in an optical network. The device may determine, based on the health information and network circuit information associated with the network circuit, that the network circuit is experiencing a health issue. The device may identify a diagnostic technique to be applied to the network circuit based on determining that the network circuit is experiencing the health issue. The device may automatically and iteratively apply the identified diagnostic technique to the network circuit in order to identify a fault location. The device may determine a corrective action, associated with the network circuit, based on the fault location and the health issue. The device may provide information associated with the corrective action to cause the corrective action to be taken.

  • Publication number: 20160125067
Abstract: Embodiments relate to entity resolution. One aspect includes creating a deterministic model by defining an entity to be resolved, selecting two datasets for comparison, defining matching predicates for attributes of the datasets to select a set of candidate matches, and defining a precedence rule for the candidate matches to select a subset of the candidate matches. An aspect further includes running the deterministic model on the two datasets. Running the deterministic model includes applying the matching predicates and the precedence rule to data in the datasets that correspond to the attributes. An aspect also includes applying a cardinality rule to results of the running, and outputting the matching candidates for which the cardinality rule is satisfied.
