    Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to transactional page fault handling. In an example, an apparatus comprises a processor to divide an execution thread of a graphics workload into a set of transactions which are to be executed atomically, initiate the execution of the thread, and manage the execution of the thread according to one of a first protocol in response to a determination that a page fault occurred in the execution of a transaction, or a second protocol in response to a determination that a page fault did not occur in the execution of a transaction.     Abstract: A first network device advertises routes of locally connected routes/subnetworks based on the connectivity of the host with respect to peer network devices. The first network device establishes a virtual port channel associated with a virtual network address. The virtual port channel includes the first network device associated with a first network address and a second network device associated with a second network address. The first network device detects that a host is connected to the first network device and determines a next hop address to associate with the host. The next hop address is determined based on whether the host is also connected to the second network device of the virtual port channel. The first network device generates a route advertisement associating the next hop address with the host.

    Abstract: A rotor blade for a turbine of a gas turbine includes an airfoil. The airfoil may have a leading edge, a trailing edge, an outboard, and an inboard end that attaches to a root configured to couple the rotor blade to a rotor disc. The airfoil may have a cooling configuration that includes elongated cooling channels for receiving and directing a coolant through the airfoil. The rotor blade may further include: a tip shroud connected to the airfoil; outlet ports formed through an outboard surface of the tip shroud that fluidly communicate with the cooling channels; and flow directing structure formed on the outboard surface of the tip shroud. The flow directing structure may be positioned relative to the outlet ports and configured for directing the flow of coolant discharged from the outlet ports. The rotor blade may be useful to reduce local tip shroud temperature as well as improved stage aerodynamic efficiency by reducing the coolant supply needed to maintain the component at desired temperature levels.

    Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods that that mitigate avalanche photodiode (APD) blinding and allow for improved accuracy in the detection of a multi-return light signal. A blinding spot may occur due to saturation of a primary APD. The systems and methods include the incorporation of a redundant APD and the utilization of time diversity and space diversity. Detection by the APDs is activated by a bias signal. The redundant APD receives a time delayed bias signal compared to the primary APD. Additionally, the redundant APD is positioned off the main focal plane in order to attenuate an output of the redundant APD. With attenuation, the redundant APD may not saturate and may have a successful detection during the blinding spot of the primary APD. Embodiments may include multiple primary APDs and multiple secondary APDs.
