  • Patent number: 10715595
Abstract: A method may comprise monitoring files (files, folders, documents of any type) to be sent to a remote storage to identify those that belong to selected file types and extracting metadata from those that belong to the selected file type(s), which may then be transcoded. Identifiers of the transcoded files and corresponding extracted metadata may be sent to a storage database. The transcoded files may be sent to be stored in the remote storage such that, upon receiving a file request and at least one criterion, the remote storage searches the database to find identifier(s) of the transcoded file(s) whose extracted metadata satisfies the criterion. Responsive to the received file request, one or more transcoded files may be made available whose identifier(s) were found during the search of the database. Alternatively or in addition, links to the transcoded files that correspond to found identifier(s) may be made available.

  • Patent number: 10715139
Abstract: Driver and pre-driver circuitry operate in an integrated circuit with two supply voltages. In one form, a reference voltage generation circuit is operable to respond to varying voltage supply conditions in which a driver may be subject to over voltage effects by generating a reference voltage based the first supply voltage when the second supply voltage is not available, and based on the second supply voltage when the first supply voltage is not available. A first drive signal generation circuit drives a pull-up transistor gate based on a data signal, varying the gate voltage between the second supply voltage and the reference voltage. A second drive signal generation circuit drives a pull-down transistor gate with a signal varying between the second supply voltage minus the reference voltage, and zero volts. In one form, certain gate-source voltages in the driver are maintained to be equal.

  • Publication number: 20200218210
Abstract: A Building Management System (BMS) includes a plurality of building subsystems and communications interface. The building subsystems include device(s) for controlling aspect(s) of the building subsystem. The communications interface receives commands from a cloud-based controller and a local client device. The commands from the cloud-based controller and local client device are structured to modify setting(s) for a device of the building subsystems. A BMS controller receives, via the communications interface from the cloud-based controller, a command for modifying a setting of a device for a first building subsystem. The BMS controller identifies a local setting of the device provided by the local client device. The BMS controller identifies a priority of the command from the cloud-based controller in relation to a priority of the local setting. The BMS controller controls the device based on the respective priorities.
