  • Publication number: 20240211432
Abstract: A cloud migration framework may include an enterprise application data store that contains electronic records associated with enterprise applications. Each record may include, for example, an electronic record identifier and enterprise application parameters. A data repository stores a catalogue of cloud computing patterns. A back-end application computer server retrieves information from the enterprise application data store and, based on enterprise application parameters, creates a move group representing a subset of the enterprise applications. For each application in the move group, the computer server identifies whether an appropriate cloud computing pattern exists in the catalogue. If an appropriate cloud computing pattern is identified, it is used to automatically create a reference implementation of the enterprise application in a cloud computing environment.

Abstract: A method for monitoring gas production in a subterranean formation includes introducing a polymer composite particle having a degradable portion and a non-degradable portion including a tracer into a stimulation fluid and injecting the stimulation fluid into the subterranean formation to a treatment stage of a treatment zone. The treatment stage has at least one opening that the polymer composite particle may flow into and remain inside. The polymer composite particle may be exposed to moisture at a downhole temperature while inside the at least one opening. The moisture may degrade the degradable portion of the polymer composite particle, thereby releasing the non-degradable portion including the tracer. Produced gas that includes the non-degradable portion including the tracer may be recovered from the subterranean formation and the tracer may be correlated to the treatment stage of the treatment zone of the subterranean formation.

  • Publication number: 20240210449
Abstract: A power sensing circuit in a first voltage domain senses an input voltage from a second voltage domain and provides a power OK signal. The maximum supply voltage of the first voltage domain is above a maximum tolerance for devices in the first voltage domain. Accordingly, protection techniques are employed to ensure that the potential difference between any two terminals of devices in the power sensing circuit does not exceed the maximum tolerance limit. The protection techniques utilize reference voltage-based techniques including level shifting and use of protection devices in transistor stacks. An over-voltage tolerant Schmitt trigger circuit is also employed in the power sensing circuit. A trip point device on the input of the power sensing circuit utilizes a programmable bias voltage to adjust the trip point of the power sensing circuit to accommodate different maximum input voltages from the second voltage domain.

  • Patent number: 12022493
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing access to 5G cellular baseband resources for 5G-capable wireless devices. A wireless device can monitor application workloads by analyzing communication network performance requirements for a given application in-use or launching for future use along with system-level indications of overall device usage, battery level, and mobility status to determine whether access to 5G cellular baseband resources is recommended for an application. A 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is provided for an application indicating a level of bandwidth in current use or expected for future use as well as a confidence metric in the bandwidth level indication. The 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is used with additional device criteria to determine whether access to one or more 5G radio frequency bands is allowed.

  • Patent number: 12019525
Abstract: A data storage management system comprises features for initiating failover orchestration jobs that invoke recovery resources on demand in a cloud computing environment. Backed up data that is stored persistently in the cloud computing environment may be rapidly restored within the cloud computing environment for use in disaster recovery and/or in test and verification scenarios. This approach may be contrasted to systems where a failover system is “always on” at the failover destination, such as having failover resources always up and running in the cloud computing environment. Such resources typically include a failover virtual machine (VM), a virtual machine datastore for the restored data, and one or more computing resources for restoring an auxiliary copy to the VM's datastore. The cloud-based failover resources are deactivated or taken down once the failover event ends.
