  • Publication number: 20240205259
Abstract: A computer-implemented method generates and manages a dynamic security graph, displaying runtime security and risk context across a cloud-native application. The security graph shows, in real-time, a customer's application components and their interactions. It reveals API traffic flows spanning multiple layers, extending from the public-facing API endpoint layer to internal microservices, external third-party APIs, and a data store layer. Additionally, it depicts how external and internal users and services, with established identities and roles, interact with diverse API and data resources, as well as the microservices involved in these interactions. The graph outlines data flows originating within internal microservices of a customer's environment but ultimately leaving the environment towards third-party APIs, external IP addresses, services, or external data stores. Moreover, the security graph highlights security vulnerabilities within each layer of the application and indicates potential attack vectors.

  • Publication number: 20240203948
Abstract: Direct bonded stack structures for increased reliability and improved yields in microelectronics are provided. Structural features and stack configurations are provided for memory modules and 3DICs to reduce defects in vertically stacked dies. Example processes alleviate warpage stresses between a thicker top die and direct bonded dies beneath it, for example. An etched surface on the top die may relieve warpage stresses. An example stack may include a compliant layer between dies. Another stack configuration replaces the top die with a layer of molding material to circumvent warpage stresses. An array of cavities on a bonding surface can alleviate stress forces. One or more stress balancing layers may also be created on a side of the top die or between other dies to alleviate or counter warpage. Rounding of edges can prevent stresses and pressure forces from being destructively transmitted through die and substrate layers. These measures may be applied together or in combinations in a single package.

  • Publication number: 20240202214
Abstract: Clustering data points of a relational database having special data types is performed by establishing logarithmic bins in which the data is collected. Special data types include (i) zero; (ii) positive and negative values; (iii) infinity (positive and negative); (iv) not-a-number values (NaNs); (v) out-of-range values; and (vi) IEEE DECFloat (decimal floating-point) values. The numerical data is mapped to bins according to their values and redistributed among the bins based on median bin value. An occupancy-based partitioning process assures each bin has no more than a pre-defined threshold percentage of the data. Assigning data bins to clusters facilitates prediction of placement of input values into a particular cluster for response to database queries.

  • Patent number: 12013879
Abstract: Described are systems, methods, and techniques for collecting, analyzing, processing, and storing time series data and for evaluating and dynamically estimating a resolution of one or more streams of data points and updating an output resolution. Responsive to receiving a stream of data points, a data resolution can be derived and an output resolution can be set to a first value. When a change to the data resolution is detected, the output resolution can be changed, modifying a frequency at which output data points are generated and/or transmitted. In some instances, a detector can be implemented to trigger an alert responsive to ingested data points corresponding with triggering parameters. An output resolution for the detector can be dynamically modified based on dynamically detecting a change to the data resolution of the stream of data.

  • Patent number: 12011351
Abstract: A valve catheter is advanced through a patient's vasculature while a prosthetic heart valve is attached to flexible extensions along a distal end thereof. The valve catheter is advanced through a tubular sleeve for exposing the prosthetic heart valve and allowing the prosthetic heart valve to self-expand while the extensions remain attached to the prosthetic heart valve. A release mechanism on a handle portion is actuated for releasing the prosthetic heart valve from the extensions, thereby implanting the prosthetic heart in a native heart valve. If the operator is not satisfied with the initial expansion, the prosthetic heart valve may be reoriented before release from the extensions by retracting the prosthetic heart valve back into the tubular sleeve, adjusting the orientation of the prosthetic heart valve and then re-advancing the valve catheter from the tubular sleeve for allowing the prosthetic heart valve to re-self-expand at a more desirable location.
