  • Patent number: 11899063
Abstract: A scan chain may be formed throughout an integrated circuit in which the scan chain is coupled to a set of pins via bi-directional input/output (I/O) buffers. A state machine may be provided to control the scan chain. Decoding logic may monitor states and transitions between states and generate pseudo static control signals in response to certain states and transition sequences in order to free up test pins for use as additional scan data I/O pins using a single JTAG IR. A test pattern may be received from an external tester using the set of I/O pins and buffers operating in parallel. The test pattern may then be provided to combinatorial logic circuitry coupled to the scan chain. A response pattern may be captured in the scan chain. The response pattern may then be provided to the external tester using the same set of I/O pins and buffers operating in parallel.

  • Patent number: 11894359
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of conductively coupling a plurality of relatively physically small core dies to a relatively physically larger base die using an electrical mesh network that is formed in whole or in part in, on, across, or about all or a portion of the base die. Electrical mesh networks beneficially permit the positioning of the cores in close proximity to support circuitry carried by the base die. The minimal separation between the core circuitry and the support circuitry advantageously improves communication bandwidth while reducing power consumption. Each of the cores may include functionally dedicated circuitry such as processor core circuitry, field programmable logic, memory, or graphics processing circuitry. The use of core dies beneficially and advantageously permits the use of a wide variety of cores, each having a common or similar interface to the electrical mesh network.

  • Patent number: 11895532
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) passively determines the presence of a cellular network bottleneck in a downlink channel and may take appropriate actions to mitigate the bottleneck. The UE may analyze the transport block size (TBS) of slots of received downlink traffic and assign states the to various slots based on this analysis. Based on these assigned states, the UE may identify a burst of network traffic from network traffic received from the cellular network, and the UE may also determine the burst duration as well as a busy estimation. The UE may determine that the cellular network is experiencing a bottleneck based at least in part on the burst duration and the busy estimation.
