Abstract: The present disclosure provides a control body adapted for use in an electronic smoking article. The control body includes a shell and a coupler that is adapted to connect the control body to a cartridge of an electronic smoking article. The coupler further is adapted to communicate a pressure reduction within the coupler to a pressure reduction space in the shell. Also positioned within the shell is an electronic circuit board having a pressure sensor attached thereto. The electronic circuit board can be positioned to be parallel to a central axis of the shell. A first end of the pressure sensor can be isolated within the pressure reduction space, and a second end of the pressure sensor can be in communication with a normal pressure space within the shell. One or more light emitting diodes can be attached to the electronic circuit board. At least a portion of the coupler can be light transmissive so that light from the LED is visible through the coupler.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for managing signs. The system will interact with software as a service and cloud network which will enable users remotely manage signs in various coordinates. In accordance with the embodiment, a mapping program is utilized to enable users to identify, select and manage sign coordinates. The system enables users to edit preferred graphics of signs; identify one or more coordinates associated with the potentiality of signs, determine the number of signs in specified coordinates and identify damaged signs to facilitate repairs. Another embodiment of the disclosure utilizes algorithms that enable the performance of operations.

Abstract: A digital content package includes first content comprising a video feature such as a motion picture or the like, and a user-selectable application configured to operate as follows. When activated using an icon off of a menu screen, the application records an identifier for scenes (discrete portions) of the first content that are selected by a user to generate a playlist. The user may select the scenes by indicating a start and end of each scene. The application saves the playlist locally, then uploads to a server. Via a user account at the server, a user may publish the playlist to a user-created distribution list, webpage, or other electronic publication, and modify the playlist by deleting or reordering scenes.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are disclosed for a flow rate algorithm that utilizes changes in fluid pressure over a set time interval to calculate a true flow rate compared to a programmed flow rate, determine any over-delivery or under-delivery in the amount of fluid delivered over the set time interval, compensate for any determined over-delivery or under-delivery in the fluid flow rate over a subsequent set time interval, and repeat the flow rate algorithm for a series of subsequent set time intervals over the duration of a fluid injection procedure.

Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure generally relate to an apparatus for large-scale external pressure storage, and more particularly for large-scale storage of liquid hydrogen and other products that require evacuated insulation. In some examples, a plate for a storage apparatus is provided. The plate a body that includes a beveled joint with the body having a nominal thickness at the beveled joint. The beveled joint is configured to be welded to a corresponding beveled joint of an adjacent plate.

Abstract: A database manager is disclosed that retrieves database records having binary encoded data from a database and instantiating objects in an in-memory database. Binary encoding compresses data, allowing many subrecords to be stored a single blob field of a database record. Retrieving chunks from storage reduces transfer time by reducing the size of data and the number of operations needed to retrieve all the subrecords. The database manager receives database access requests from a database application. Changes made to the database objects and committed by the application are written back to the persistent database as versioned delta records. In a subsequent session, loading the database from storage includes first loading the most recent snapshot record, then applying changes to the data stored in delta records. The changes stored in the delta records are applied to the data in the snapshot record in the order in which they were made.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a knowledge base system and method for curating both factual and logical knowledge while using a common data storage repository. According to an exemplary embodiment, a knowledge base stores complied Boolean information which represents factual knowledge and logic for interpreting the factual knowledge. Combining the knowledge base, i.e., functional logic knowledge (FLK) repository, with a logic evaluator creates a knowledge abstraction layer.

Abstract: Data encoded in multiple languages, such as single byte languages and multi-byte languages, may be generated and stored in a single indexable information/data profile in a database. The information/data profile may comprise indexable information/data fields configured for storing information/data in a standardized language encoding and non-indexable information/data fields configured for storing information/data in a language different from the standardized language. The standardized language may be generated by translating the information/data stored in the non-indexable information/data fields to enable indexing of the entire information/data profile. The information/data profile may be utilized to generate various information/data outputs, such as shipping labels including at least one of the standardized language or the other language while enabling the information/data profile to be indexed based at least in part on the standardized language.
