  • Publication number: 20190168507
Abstract: An inkjet printhead includes two groups of interleaved nozzles. First and second sets of drop-formation waveforms are associated with the groups of nozzles to selectively cause portions of a liquid jet to break off into drops. A timing delay device time-shifts the second-group waveforms relative to those associated with the first-group waveforms. A charging-electrode waveform having portions with first and second potentials is provided to a charging electrode. The waveform energies of the second-group waveforms is larger than the waveform energies of the corresponding first-group waveforms so that printing drops break off from the liquid jets while the charging-electrode is at the first potential, and non-printing drops break off from the liquid jets while the charging-electrode is at the second potential.

  • Patent number: 10139652
Abstract: Eyeluminators will provide the illumination needed when working in dim or dark places. They are basically state-of-the-art flashlights for your eyes! When the LED lights in the frames of these glasses are switched on, the user will have bright light wherever they look, and without the inconvenience of having to hold a flashlight and eliminating shadows caused by any other light source. Tiny LED light bulbs are embedded across the top of the frames of these glasses, with the power switches located on the earpieces. They have cushioned nose pads and frames to provide greater comfort when wearing them for extended periods of time. When the lights are switched on, bright light will illuminate whatever is in front of the person's face, so they have a very clear view ahead and shadows will not be a hindrance.

  • Publication number: 20180218033
Abstract: Data encoded in multiple languages, such as single byte languages and multi-byte languages, may be generated and stored in a single indexable information/data profile in a database. The information/data profile may comprise indexable information/data fields configured for storing information/data in a standardized language encoding and non-indexable information/data fields configured for storing information/data in a language different from the standardized language. The standardized language may be generated by translating the information/data stored in the non-indexable information/data fields to enable indexing of the entire information/data profile. The information/data profile may be utilized to generate various information/data outputs, such as shipping labels including at least one of the standardized language or the other language while enabling the information/data profile to be indexed based at least in part on the standardized language.

  • Publication number: 20180077970
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a control body adapted for use in an electronic smoking article. The control body includes a shell and a coupler that is adapted to connect the control body to a cartridge of an electronic smoking article. The coupler further is adapted to communicate a pressure reduction within the coupler to a pressure reduction space in the shell. Also positioned within the shell is an electronic circuit board having a pressure sensor attached thereto. The electronic circuit board can be positioned to be parallel to a central axis of the shell. A first end of the pressure sensor can be isolated within the pressure reduction space, and a second end of the pressure sensor can be in communication with a normal pressure space within the shell. One or more light emitting diodes can be attached to the electronic circuit board. At least a portion of the coupler can be light transmissive so that light from the LED is visible through the coupler.

  • Publication number: 20180043815
Abstract: When vehicles become disabled on a road or race track, they may be towed away to be repaired or discarded. A disabled vehicle that is repairable but severely damaged may be susceptible to further damage caused by towing it away, which may prevent conventional tow trucks from quickly and easily towing the disabled vehicle away. The presently disclosed vehicle towing system incorporates a telescoping boom extending from a tow vehicle. The telescoping boom includes a first towed vehicle attachment mechanism extending from a distal end of the telescoping boom and a second towed vehicle attachment mechanism extending from a proximal end of the telescoping boom. The first and second vehicle attachment mechanism connect the boom to the disabled vehicle and the boom is used to lift and suspend the disabled vehicle behind the tow vehicle as the disabled vehicle is towed away.
