  • Publication number: 20190327138
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provided for a system for provisioning network resources. The system includes a network provisioning abstraction layer having an application interface for receiving network provisioning requests from applications and determine provisioning instructions for fulfilling the requests. Each of the received provisioning instructions is queued in a priority queuing system according to a request priority. The provisioning instructions for the highest priority requests are removed from the front of the queue and sent to a resource interface that relays the requests to the appropriate network resources.

  • Patent number: 10341197
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for implementing a virtual service control point in a telecommunications network. In one embodiment, the system and methods involve implementing the functions of a service control point (SCP) device on one or more computing devices, such as application servers of the network, of the telecommunications network to create a virtual service control point device. In one embodiment, the virtual SCP may translate toll-free communications, such as 8xx based telephone communications, into a destination address associated with a customer of the network. In addition to resolving communications into a destination address or number, a virtual SCP instantiated in a network may provide one or more routing rules or features for such communications to a customer.

  • Patent number: 10277153
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling an induction motor are provided. In particular, data indicative of an alternating current voltage signal associated with an induction motor can be received. The alternating current voltage signal can be applied to the induction motor through a switching element coupled between a power source and the induction motor. A zero cross voltage signal can then be generated based at least in part on the data indicative of the alternating current voltage signal. A phase delay period for at least one half cycle period of the zero cross signal can then be determined. Operation of the induction motor can then be controlled by providing one or more control signals to the switching element causing the switching element to conduct current for one or more gating periods. Each gating period can be determined based at least in part on the phase delay period.

  • Patent number: 10270538
Abstract: A circuit may include amplifier circuitry configured to receive a current signal at an amplifier input node, convert the current signal to a voltage signal, and output the voltage signal at an amplifier output node. The circuit may also include overload circuitry configured to receive a replica DC input voltage and a replica DC output voltage. The overload circuitry may be further configured to detect that the current signal exceeds a threshold level based on the replica DC input voltage and the replica DC output voltage. In addition, the overload circuitry may be configured to, in response to and based on detecting that the current signal exceeds the threshold level, direct DC current of the current signal through a DC shunt path and direct AC current of the current signal through an AC shunt path. The AC shunt path may be different from the DC shunt path.

  • Publication number: 20190098953
Abstract: A method for providing a collision warning using an image capture device mounted on a rear portion of a helmet, including receiving a series of image frames and receiving spatial position data about the helmet from an inertial measurement unit. The spatial position data includes at least one of a roll angle, a yaw angle, and a pitch angle of the helmet. The method includes adjusting an orientation of the series of image frames based on the spatial position data. Thus, the orientation of the series of image frames is level with an orientation of the scene. The method includes identifying a target vehicle and calculating a speed of the target vehicle based on a rate of change of a position of the target vehicle. Further, the method includes controlling an output device and/or the motorcycle based on the speed of the target vehicle and the rate of change.
