  • Publication number: 20210256500
Abstract: A method of performing autonomous mobile services can include receiving, with a server, a first input corresponding to a request for mobile services, a payment account associated with a user, and an exchange location. The server can control an autonomous vehicle to move to the exchange location. An article holding unit of the vehicle can receive the user and can hold furniture or tools with radio frequency identification tags. The server can receive a second input from an authentication device positioned on the vehicle that corresponds to payment. A door to the holding unit can be opened in response to receipt of the second input. The user can then be received in the article holding unit. The autonomous vehicle can remain at the exchange location until the user has left the article holding unit.

  • Publication number: 20210182856
Abstract: A method for inputting pin blocks to a network can include receiving a first pin from a key pad with an encryption module, which is then encrypted to a first pin block with a network encryption key and transmitted to a first computing device that inputs the first pin block to a secure network. The encryption module can also receive a second pin block from a second computing device that is physically separate from the key pad. Prior to receiving the second pin block, the encryption module can transmit a certificate and a second certificate to the second computing device. The encryption module can decrypt the second pin block to a second pin and encrypt the second pin to a third pin block with the network encryption key, for inputting the third pin block to the secure network.

  • Publication number: 20210063496
Abstract: A method of determining polymerisation of transformer insulation within a transformer. The method includes the steps of measuring a first and second moisture activity of oil in a transformer, and a first and second temperature of the transformer. The method further includes calculating the ratio of the gradients of the moisture equilibrium curves associated with the moisture activity and the temperature. The calculated ratio can then be used to characterise the polymerisation of the insulation and age of the transformer.

  • Publication number: 20200184439
Abstract: A system provides for a self-checkout terminal with various components. A receiver receives shopping data including prices of items that a customer has physically acquired or placed in a cart. A payment logic receives credential information associated with a monetary account for paying for the items. A message logic creates checkout data that includes data representing the collection of purchase items. A transmitter transmits the credential information to an account network for authentication and the receiver receives a response indicating if the monetary account is valid. The payment logic/self-checkout terminal indicates to the customer that a payment using the monetary account for the purchase items is authorized or not. When authorized, an authorization is received at the self-checkout terminal before the customer arrives at the terminal and the self-checkout terminal causes a payment transaction to be executed to provide for self-checkout using the monetary account without assistance by another person.
