Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing a map of a building floor plan with locations of access points within the floor plan, the access points being capable of performing wireless communications with wireless devices. Determining a pose of a wireless device within the map using images captured by one or more cameras of the wireless device. Selecting a preferred access point based on the pose of the wireless device, the floor plan, and the locations of the plurality of access points within the floor plan. Configuring wireless communication settings of the wireless device to communicate with the preferred access point based on the pose of the wireless device and the location of the preferred access point within the floor plan.

Abstract: A distributed imaging system for augmented reality devices is disclosed. The system includes a computing module in communication with a plurality of spatially distributed sensing devices. The computing module is configured to process input images from the sensing devices based on performing a local feature matching computation to generate corresponding first output images. The computing module is further configured to process the input images based on performing an optical flow correspondence computation to generate corresponding second output images. The computing module is further configured to computationally combine first and second output images to generate third output images.

Abstract: A humidification system can include a heater base, a humidification chamber, and a breathing circuit. A cartridge can be removably coupled to the heater base. The cartridge can include various sensors, probes, sensor wire connectors, heater wire connectors, and/or other features. The cartridge can include features configured to mate with corresponding features on the humidification chamber and the heater base. The cartridge includes a memory, such as an EEPROM, or other suitable storage device. When the cartridge is installed on the heater base, the memory is electrically connected to a processor and/or memory of the heater base. Various models of cartridges can be produced for use with different humidification chambers, breathing circuits, and/or therapies. A connector can be configured to couple an inspiratory conduit to an outlet port of the humidification chamber. The connector can provide a pneumatic connection to the outlet port and an electrical connection to the cartridge.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to blended meat substitute products and methods of producing the same. In some aspects, a method of producing a meat substitute product can include providing a plant based scaffolding with a carrier material, the carrier material including animal cells, adding a gelation agent to at least one of the plant-based scaffolding, and incubating the carrier material and the plant-based scaffolding in a controlled environment to produce a meat substitute product. In some embodiments, the animal cells can include at least one of skeletal muscle cells, fat cells, connective tissue cells, or skin cells.

Abstract: A surgical draping system includes an under-draping, an over-draping, and a connecting draping connected by the under-draping and the over-draping. The surgical draping system is used to establish and maintain a surgical corridor to a surgical site or sites on a patient supported by a surgical table. The surgical draping system can accommodate rotation of the patient on the surgical table, such that the sterile surgical corridor is maintained even during such rotation. The sterile surgical corridor extends through an aperture formed in the over-draping, through an enclosed passageway formed through the connecting draping, and through an aperture formed in the under-draping.

Abstract: A system and apparatus assists pilots and flight crews in determining the best course of action at any particular point inflight for any category of emergency. The system monitors a plurality of static and dynamic flight parameters including atmospheric conditions along the flight path, ground conditions and terrain, conditions aboard the aircraft, and pilot/crew data. Based on these parameters, the system may provide continually updated information to the pilot or crew about the best available landing sites or recommend solutions to aircraft configuration errors. In case of emergency, the system may provide the pilot with procedure sets associated with a hierarchy of available emergency landing sites (or execute these procedure sets via the autopilot system) depending on the specific nature of the emergency.
