  • Patent number: 12073731
Abstract: A mission monitor for planning non-scheduled flight plan operations during a flight such that a user or the system may direct the aircraft to a safe position if the pilot or aircraft cease to perform as planned. Upon user selection or a triggering event the mission monitor may select and cause the aircraft to fly a determined best course of action at any particular point inflight. The mission monitor may remotely and wirelessly receive flight, pilot, aircraft, and operator information. In some implementations mission monitor features may be distributed between individual modules. In one embodiment the system determines current aircraft configuration against an expected aircraft configuration to detect configuration errors, and then utilize configuration errors and error trends to manage aircraft configuration and mission operation. The system may divert the aircraft to the best available landing sites or reconfigure the aircraft to resolve configuration errors.

  • Patent number: 12056884
Abstract: A method of identifying a particular mask for a patient for use in delivering a flow of breathing gas to the patient is carried out by first receiving a 2-D frontal image of the patient. Next, 3-D facial information of the patient is determined from the 2-D frontal image. At least some of the 3-D facial information is compared with dimensional information of a plurality of candidate masks. Finally, the particular mask for the patient is determined from a result of the comparison of the at least some of the 3-D facial information and the dimensional information of the plurality of candidate masks.

  • Patent number: 12056275
Abstract: An Artificial Reality (AR) device captures an image of a physical environment surrounding a user wearing the AR device. A three-dimensional map corresponding to the physical environment is accessed. Then, a pose of the AR device relative to the three-dimensional map is determined based on first features of physical objects captured in the image and second features of object representations in the three-dimensional map. The device determines, using an eye tracker, a gaze of an eye of the user. Based on the gaze and the pose, a region of interest is computed in the three-dimensional map. Representations of physical devices in the region of interest of the three-dimensional map are identified. The device determines an intent of the user to interact with a physical device. A command is issued to the physical device based on the determined intent.

  • Publication number: 20240241755
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling access to a shared resource accessible to a plurality of initiator components is provided. The apparatus has shared resource management circuitry to select, from amongst the plurality of initiator components, a currently granted initiator component that is currently allowed to access the shared resource, and to identify the currently granted initiator component within a storage structure. Gating circuitry is located in a communication path between the given initiator component and the shared resource which, on receipt of a given transaction initiated by a given initiator component, determines with reference to the storage structure whether the given initiator component is the currently granted initiator component.

  • Patent number: 12032705
Abstract: Proper functioning of an antivirus software running on an endpoint system is detected using a test data that is provided to the endpoint system. The test data is also provided to a backend system, which provides the endpoint system with an antivirus definition that includes information for detecting the test data. The antivirus software running on the endpoint system scans for the test data and reports detection of the test data to the backend system. The antivirus software is deemed to have failed the proper functioning test when the antivirus software fails to report detection of the test data. Proper functioning of the antivirus software is also detected by performing a challenge procedure, which involves sending a challenge message to the endpoint system. The endpoint system is expected to respond to the challenge message with a response that includes expected information.
