  • Publication number: 20190061480
Abstract: An ionized air delivery system, such as a vehicle ionized air delivery system, includes an outlet body that is situated within a duct of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The outlet body delivers ions to air flow in the duct of the HVAC system. The outlet body has an outer surface that is generally spherical at a region of the outer surface that confronts the air flow in the duct. Further, the outlet body has an outlet passage with a primary axis that is directed away from an exit of the duct of the HVAC system. Air flow in the duct passes across an exit opening of the outlet body and draws ions out of the outlet passage to mix with the air flow in the duct of the HVAC system.

  • Patent number: 10217074
Abstract: A modular sorting station includes a frame defining an inbound bay and an outbound bay, each of the inbound and outbound bays being sized to receive an inventory holder containing inventory thereon. A robotic grasper is mounted to the frame and positioned above one of the inbound and outbound bays and operable to transfer inventory items from the inbound bay to the outbound bay, and a sensor mounted to one of the frame or robotic grasper and operable to identify inventory at the inbound bay when the inventory holder is present in the inbound bay. The frame is sized and arranged to align with a material handling grid and permit drive units to transport inventory holders into and out of the inbound bay and/or outbound bays while moving along the material handling grid; and the frame is portable such that the modular sorting station can be moved as a modular unit for rapid deployment.

  • Publication number: 20180357579
Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention can be a method of displaying survey results. The method can include, for each of a plurality of survey items, receiving survey responses from survey respondents, wherein each response is chosen from response options, the response options corresponding to an ordinal scale; each respondent is associated with a collection of respondent segments; and each response to each item by each survey respondent corresponds with a response score. The method can further include, for each item and respondent segment, determining a composite score based on the response score. Further, response groupings can be displayed according to a noteworthiness ranking that is based on at least two of the composite score, a change in the composite score, and a sum of weights for each respondent segment.

The apparatus may include a headset configured with a port that allows for electrically and communicatively connecting to a mobile device via a wire plugged into the port. A processor configured within the headset of the apparatus may receive a signal indicating the headset being connected to the mobile device through the wire. In response to receiving the signal indicating the wire connection, the apparatus may turn off a Bluetooth signal transmitted by the apparatus. The apparatus also charge a battery in the apparatus using power received through an electrical connection of the wire, and establish audio communication with the mobile device through a communication connection of the wire. Embodiments also include a wire with swappable portions to facilitate the transfer of power and data.

  • Patent number: 10071549
Abstract: Systems and methods for printhead position control. The system comprises a controller that identifies a target distance for moving a printhead in a lateral direction to compensate for lateral shifts in a web of print media as the web travels in a continuous-forms printer in a conveyance direction. The controller also identifies a maximum distance for moving the printhead in the lateral direction based on an allowable print error in a color plane of the printer and one or more previous positions of the printhead. The control further moves the printhead for a distance that is a lesser of the maximum distance and the target distance.

  • Publication number: 20180253434
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method of identifying and managing IT assets that aggregates fields and their associated values from multiple event log data sources that share one or more common IT asset identifiers and leverages a prioritization approach to determine the most appropriate values for each of the fields. The system utilizes two inputs, namely event log data source inputs and prioritization inputs. Through aggregation of data from different input data sources, the system pieces together a more comprehensive record of field values for a given IT asset, to generate in real-time the updated asset inventory output.
