  • Patent number: 10049022
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program for high-availability database systems. The method commences by replicating (e.g., from a first server to a second server) a data structure having entries describing resource locks and client states. The replication can be performed to any number of servers. Upon detecting a failure of a connection between the first server and a client to which the first server is connected, the system establishes a new connection between the second server and the client by updating the replicated data structure to describe new connection between the second server and the client and updating the entries of the replicated data structure to reflect the new connection and the then current aspects of the resource locks and client states. The client can be a database instance, and the act of replicating can be accomplished using a broadcast channel. The servers can be organized in a computing cluster.

  • Patent number: 10040522
Abstract: A wakeboat has a hull, the hull forming a wake when moving forward in the water, with a port disturbance and a starboard disturbance in the wake. Left (port) and right (starboard) trim tabs are installed at the stern of the hull. Each trim tab comprises a primary subtab and a secondary subtab. Actuators may be optionally included to reposition the trim tabs more into, or more out of, the water. Such repositioning causes the disturbance on one side of the wake to be selectively repositioned to the other side of the wake, enlarging a quiet region on the side of the wake on which the repositioned disturbance was originally positioned. Other systems and methods are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10022037
Abstract: A dish rack is supported for vertical movement relative to a dishwasher tub between lowered and raised positions. To raise the rack, spring biased locking levers provided on side walls of the dish rack are pivoted to cause wing members of the locking levers to release locking tabs, extending in a cantilevered fashion from locking straps secured to the rack, from locking openings provided in adjuster arms which are fixed vertically relative to the tub, thereby disengaging the locking straps from the adjuster arms to enable the rack to be lifted to the raised position. To lower the rack, the locking levers are again pivoted to reposition support members of the locking straps into positions offset from the adjuster arms, thereby enabling the rack to be guided to the lowered position where the locking tabs automatically engage the adjuster arms.

  • Publication number: 20180056464
Abstract: A universal-fit vacuum assisted router hood tool attaches to the router to capture dust and particles generated by the router bit. A generally planar base plate is adapted to mount to the fiat base of the router. The base plate has a central opening centered on the axis of the router so that associated router bit protrudes through. A dust collection dome is rotationally positioned in the central opening, and the dome has a central opening at the axis of the router A cuff connector extending out from the dust collection dome to a hose cuff that can receive a hose of a dust extractor. An annular flange within the dome at the top opening prevents dust and particulates from exiting the top opening of the dome.

  • Publication number: 20170229109
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine and/or powertrain producing noise that is audible in a passenger compartment of the vehicle when the engine and/or powertrain is running. An active noise control arrangement includes a first loudspeaker disposed within a passenger compartment of the vehicle. A digital signal processor receives audio data and transmits an audio signal to the first loudspeaker dependent upon the audio data. A microphone is disposed within the passenger compartment and converts the sound from the first loudspeaker and the noise within the passenger compartment into a microphone signal. The microphone signal is transmitted to the digital signal processor, and the digital signal processor modifies the audio signal such that the audio signal attenuates the noise in the passenger compartment.

  • Patent number: 9676361
Abstract: Airbag assemblies are disclosed that comprise a frontal inflatable cushion that can deploy from a housing assembly to receive a head and/or a portion of a torso of a vehicle occupant moving from a vehicle occupant position in a forward direction relative to the vehicle during a vehicle impact event. The frontal inflatable cushion can be a curtain airbag. The frontal inflatable cushion can also be coupled to one or more support components within a passenger compartment of the vehicle, such that when the frontal inflatable cushion is in the deployed state the one or more support components support the frontal inflatable cushion in a rearward direction, relative to the vehicle, to enable the frontal inflatable cushion to restrain movement of the vehicle occupant in the forward direction during a vehicle impact event.
