  • Publication number: 20160146865
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting an abnormal event and capturing associated waveforms includes a detection module within a power control device that detects an abnormal condition. The abnormal condition is indicative of an impending failure of the power control device and/or a condition within the power control device indicative of a parameter being outside of a specified limit. The power control device controls power to one or more power devices in a power distribution system. The apparatus includes a signal transmit module that transmits a capture signal to a transient capture meter. The transient capture meter meters transient conditions of a branch of the power distribution system that includes the power control device. The capture signal instructs the transient capture meter to capture current and/or voltage waveforms relevant to a time when the detection module detected the abnormal condition.

  • Patent number: 9128080
Abstract: The invention is directed to a modified T cell receptor (TCR) comprising an amino acid sequence of a wild-type (WT) TCR with no more than three amino acid substitutions, wherein the modified TCR, as compared to the WT TCR, (i) has an enhanced ability to recognize target cells when expressed by CD4+ T cells and (ii) does not exhibit a decrease in antigen specificity when expressed by CD8+ T cells. Polypeptides, proteins, nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors, host cells, populations of cells, antibodies, and pharmaceutical compositions related to the modified TCR also are part of the invention. Further, the invention is directed to methods of detecting a diseased cell in a host, methods of treating or preventing a disease in a host, and methods of identifying a candidate adoptive immunotherapy TCR.

  • Publication number: 20150047040
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein describe a method for processing streams of data of one or more networked computer systems. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an ordered stream of normalized vectors corresponding to information security data obtained from one or more sensors monitoring a computer network is received. A neuro-linguistic model of the information security data is generated by clustering the ordered stream of vectors and assigning a letter to each cluster, outputting an ordered sequence of letters based on a mapping of the ordered stream of normalized vectors to the clusters, building a dictionary of words from of the ordered output of letters, outputting an ordered stream of words based on the ordered output of letters, and generating a plurality of phrases based on the ordered output of words.

  • Publication number: 20150046155
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein describe techniques for generating a linguistic model of input data obtained from a data source (e.g., a video camera). According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a sequence of symbols is generated based on an ordered stream of normalized vectors generated from the input data. A dictionary of words is generated from combinations of the ordered sequence of symbols based on a frequency at which combinations of symbols appear in the ordered sequence of symbols. A plurality of phrases is generated based an ordered sequence of words from the dictionary observed in the ordered sequence of symbols based on a frequency by which combinations of words in ordered sequence of words appear relative to one another.
