  • Publication number: 20240082427
Abstract: In various embodiments method are provided for generating expression cassettes and gene therapy vectors comprising those cassettes that recapitulate the spatiotemporal pattern of expression of the endogenous gene. In certain embodiments the methods comprise (i) selecting a target gene; (ii) identifying putative regulatory elements associated with the target gene; (iii) determining if the regulatory element is a key regulatory element and (iv) providing a list of the key regulatory elements identified in step (iii).

  • Publication number: 20240083244
Abstract: An electric power take-off system for mounting to a truck body to complement an existing power-take-off system powered by an internal combustion engine. The system includes a motor, battery, fluid reservoir, pump and a digital sensing unit for sensing at least one of fluid pressure or a fluid flow rate within the fluid delivery conduit. The digital sensing unit also includes an output capability. The system also includes a motor controller in operable communication with the digital sensing unit as well as the motor for instantaneously controlling the rotational speed of the motor. The motor controller in turn limits operation of the motor only to occasions of truck function operation initiated by the system operator.

  • Patent number: 11916369
Abstract: A dropout recloser is capable of in accordance with its operating programming after a predetermined number of fault interrupting operations, e.g., 1, 2, 3 or more but typically 3, to drop out of a cutout and hang freely in a hinge contact of the cutout providing sectionalization with an observable visible gap. The recloser includes fault interrupting and reclosing components, a drop out mechanism and a controller. The drop out mechanism may include a bi-stable actuator to affect fault interrupting operation and dropout operation. The device may include motion limiting structures. The recloser may have a number of operating modes or sequences.

  • Patent number: 11552704
Abstract: Synchronizing a pulse position modulation (PPM) signal. A method includes performing a first synchronization operation by receiving a first series of symbols. The symbols in the first series are transmitted with a pulse in a known slot, such that the symbols comprise pulses that are substantially equally spaced in time from adjacent symbols. The first synchronization operation includes identifying when each pulse is received for each of the symbols and using information identifying when each pulse is received for each of the symbols in the first series of symbols to identify symbol and slot boundaries for the pulse position modulation signal. The method further includes performing a second synchronization operation by receiving a second series of symbols transmitted in a known pattern, and identifying the known pattern in the received second series of symbols to identify a frame boundary.

  • Publication number: 20220210999
Abstract: A feeding system for a domesticated animal such as a dog or cat comprises a vessel, such as a bowl, where the vessel has an open top end, a closed bottom end, an outer wall upstanding from the bottom end defining substantially the periphery of the vessel, and an inner wall upstanding from the said bottom end forming an inner walled compartment or area, wherein the space between the outer and inner walls defines a channel. The inner walled area and channel form two segmented and separate compartments or stations for feeding and/or hydrating an animal such as a dog or cat.

  • Patent number: 10686557
Abstract: Methods and systems adapted for providing forward error correction for data packets containing a relationship between the data in each data packet. Data packets encoded in one error correction coding scheme are received and a second error correction coding scheme is identified based on the relationship between the data in each data packet. The data packets are then decoded using the second error correction coding scheme.
