  • Publication number: 20210158132
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a neural network model for implementation using a processing element array, where the neural network model includes a convolution operation on a set of input feature maps and a set of filters. The method also includes determining, based on the neural network model, that the convolution operation utilizes less than a threshold number of rows in the processing element array for applying a set of filter elements to the set of input feature maps, where the set of filter elements includes one filter element in each filter of the set of filters. The method further includes generating, for the convolution operation and based on the neural network model, a first instruction and a second instruction for execution by respective rows in the processing element array, where the first instruction and the second instruction use different filter elements of a filter in the set of filters.

  • Publication number: 20210157749
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods related to computer memory access determination are described. A command can be received at a memory system (e.g., a system with or exploiting DRAM). The command can comprise a memory operation and a plurality of privilege bits. The privilege level or a memory address that is associated with the memory operation can be identified. The privilege level can correspond to the memory address can describe a privilege level that can access the memory address. A determination can be made as to whether the memory operation, or the application requesting certain data or prompting corresponding instructions, is entitled to access to the memory address using the plurality of privilege bits and the privilege level. Responsive to determining that the memory operation has access to the memory address, the memory operation can be processed.

Abstract: A method for capturing material extracted from biochar is provided comprising the steps of: (i) providing a biochar; (ii) contacting the biochar with an extraction media, where the extraction media causes the removal of residual compounds from the pores and surface of the biochar, creating a resulting extract comprised of the extraction media and removed compounds; and (iii) collecting the resulting extract. The method also can include other steps of extraction and purification. The method further comprises the step of applying the resulting extract to seeds, plants, soil, other agricultural products, or for use in other applications. A biochar having high levels of soluble signaling compounds is also provided, where the biochar is derived from a biomass source that together with predefined pyrolysis parameters produces resulting biochar having increased levels of soluble signaling compounds that are known to increase seed germination rates and early plant growth.
