Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing access to secure-access facilities based on pairing of the secure-access facilities with a user device such as a wearable device. A pairable secure-access facility may be a public storage facility or device such as a locker that includes communications circuitry for pairing with the user device. Once paired with the user device, the locker may operate a locking mechanism to lock the locker when the user device is away from the locker and to unlock the locker when the user device is in the vicinity of the locker. The locker may include a beacon for detecting and pairing with the user devices. Pairing the user device and the locker may include entering a locker identifier into the user device to ensure that the intended user device is paired with the intended locker.

  • Publication number: 20210158266
Abstract: An automated WFM system is provided that automates many of the tasks that were previously handled by a user or administrator associated with the system. The system handles forecast and schedule generation, as well as employee (e.g., agent) requests automatically and without any need for input from a user or administrator. The system minimizes the need for a dedicated employee to handle WFM, and only requests input for a user or administrator as a last resort.

  • Publication number: 20210158151
Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described for machine-learning architectures for broadcast and multicast communications. In implementations, a network entity determines a configuration of a deep neural network (DNN) for processing broadcast or multicast communications transmitted over a wireless communication system, where the communications are directed to a targeted group of user equipments (UEs). The network entity forms a network-entity DNN based on the determined configuration of the DNN and processes the broadcast or multicast communications using the network-entity DNN. In implementations, the network entity forms a common DNN to process and/or propagate the broadcast or multicast communications to the targeted group of UEs.

  • Publication number: 20210159817
Abstract: Multi-dimensional magnetic levitation and translation systems include at least one electromagnets located on each of three perpendicular axes. The at least three electromagnets are operated using a control system to apply a nonphysical force on objects contained within the magnetic field. An object is able to be levitated within the system in spite of any variable acceleration the system experiences due to the environment. The multi-dimensional magnetic levitation system is able to linearly translate an object within its volume of control.

  • Publication number: 20210160939
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. The first UE establishes a first sidelink Signaling Radio Bearer (SRB) for PC5-S message transmission if a unicast link or a PC5-Radio Resource Control (PC5-RRC) connection establishment is initiated, wherein the first sidelink SRB is associated with a default Destination Layer-2 Identity (ID). Also, the first UE transmits a first PC5-S message for the unicast link or the PC5-RRC connection establishment on the first sidelink SRB with a Source Layer-2 ID derived from a Layer-2 ID of the first UE and a Destination Layer-2 ID derived from the default Destination Layer-2 ID. Furthermore, the first UE receives a second PC5-S message from a second UE, wherein the second PC5-S message is transmitted with a Source Layer-2 ID derived from a Layer-2 ID of the second UE and a Destination Layer-2 ID derived from the Layer-2 ID of the first UE.

  • Publication number: 20210159917
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for the described techniques provide for generating, by an encoding device, one or more entropy symbols, the length of which changes responsive to errors, stacking the entropy symbols into fixed intervals, and selecting a parity bit. The encoding device may divide entropy symbols that are longer than the fixed interval duration and stack the excess portions of the long entropy symbols with shorter entropy symbols in other intervals. The encoding device may transmit the stacked data packet according to the stacking. A decoding device may receive the data packet, identify the locations of the entropy symbols and the selected parity bit, check the parity of each entropy symbol, identify error bits based on the locations of the entropy symbols within multiple fixed intervals, and may correct error bits based on the stacked intervals, the parity bit, and an error mask.

  • Publication number: 20210160374
Abstract: A method, a computer program product, and a computer system determine when to transfer a communication session from an agent to a bot. The method includes monitoring the communication session between the agent and a user. The method includes determining a continuing utility value indicating a predicted continuing cost to maintaining the communication session with the agent. The continuing utility value is indicative of a predicted continuing benefit to maintaining the communication with the agent. The method includes determining a transferring utility value indicating a predicted transferring cost to transferring the communication session from the agent to the bot. The transferring utility value is indicative of a predicted transferring benefit to transferring the communication session from the agent to the bot. The method includes, as a result of the predicted transferring benefit being greater than the predicted continuing benefit, transferring the communication session from the agent to the bot.

  • Publication number: 20210158707
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention discloses a process of providing a report predicting potential risks relating to an operator driving a vehicle using information obtained from various interior and exterior sensors, vehicle onboard computer (“VOC”), and cloud network. After activating interior and exterior sensors mounted on a vehicle operated by a driver for obtaining data relating to external surroundings and internal environment, the data is forwarded to VOC for generating a current fingerprint associated with the driver. The current fingerprint represents current driving status in accordance with the collected real-time data. Upon uploading the current fingerprint to the cloud via a communications network, a historical fingerprint which represents historical driving information associated with the driver is retrieved.
