Systems may include various additional circuit components described herein for regulating and/or controlling the generation, storage, and application of electric power. The systems and techniques described herein can be used to design networks of electrochromic windows that are hybrid-solar or off-the-grid (“OTG”).

A controller processes the captured images and controls the actuator to move the door to the open position when a mobile device is detected proximate the vehicle and a user is detected in the captured images located in a door detection zone. The controller moves the door to the open position when a face of a user is recognized as an authorized user located in the door detection zone. The controller moves the door to the open position when a gait of the user is detected and identifies the gait are indicative of an authorized user located in the door detection zone.

Predetermined marker features of a toothcare appliance, e.g. a brush in use are identified in each of the plurality of frames of the video images. From the at least two invariant landmarks associated with the user's nose, a measure of inter-landmark distance is determined. An appliance length normalised by the inter-landmark distance is determined. From the one or more landmarks selected from at least mouth feature positions and eye feature positions, one or more appliance-to-facial feature distances each normalised by the inter-landmark distance is determined.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses systems and methods for measuring the bladder volume of a patient. An ultrasound transducer array may be used to transmit electrical pulses and receive the backscattered pulses that can be analyzed to develop a representation of the patients bladder. The backscattered ultrasound signals may be amplified, converted, and processed by circuitry and computer software to develop an axial position of the anterior and posterior bladder walls. Bladder volume measurements derived from the patients bladder may then be wirelessly transmitted to a display device for assessment by a healthcare provider. The ultrasound transducer array portion of the device may be held in place between the patients peritoneum and pubis by an elastic strap or a belt to ensure proper positioning.

The scoring station actuator shifts the scoring tool to form a slot in the web. The forming tool receives the scored web and includes a vertically shiftable positive mold assembly and negative mold assembly. The parameter values are obtainable from a thermal model of the current sensor. The thermal model is derived from testing a test version of the inverter under different drive cycles in which for each drive cycle a set of information is recorded including a sensed temperature of a switch of the inverter test version, a sensed current output from the inverter test version, and a sensed temperature of a current sensor of the inverter test version.
