  • Publication number: 20210273948
Abstract: A system for controlling data storage and software access in a multi-device computing network enables the storage, and more preferably the temporary storage of local dataset data and system modules on one or more client devices, such as data owner client devices and/or surrogate client devices, which can then only be accessed based on specific thresholds or characteristics which may be input, defined, selected, by a data owner. The system allows known and permissioned client users that meet such thresholds and characteristics to access, process and decrypt various encrypted data that has been stored, in whole or in part, across one or more owner client devices and/or surrogate client devices, while the system modules required to process the data of a local data set are moved to the secure location(s) by being stored on one or more owner client devices and/or surrogate client devices.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a rear lamp display configured to display images as well as perform the usual functions of a rear lamp assembly. The rear lamp display may include a light source and a digital mirror device. Obstacles detected may trigger display of a static or animated representation of the obstacle in the rear lamp display. Detection of a turn may invoke display of a direction of the turn as well as text indicating a target of the turn. Detection of an intervention of a vehicle system to maintain stability, a warning may be displayed that indicates potentially hazardous road conditions. Where opening of a door is detected, a representation of an open or opening door may be displayed. Where a following vehicle is detected, the speed limit or cruising speed of the vehicle may be displayed. Objects left in the vehicle may trigger display of an alert.

  • Publication number: 20210156855
Abstract: Methods and assays for performing a lateral flow test are disclosed. A sample is applied to a receiving portion of a lateral flow device such that the sample flows to at least a first test zone and a second test zone. First and second signals levels at the first and second test zones over an assay period are monitored. If a first analyte of interest is present in the sample, the first analyte is labelled and the presence of labelled first analyte in the sample causes one of the first and second signals levels to increase during the assay period. A change between the first and second signal levels over a period of time during the assay period is monitored. The sample can be incubated prior to application to the receiving portion to provide homogeneity to labelling and therefore a substantially linear increase of the signal level at one of the test zones and a substantially constant signal level at the other one of the test zones.

  • Publication number: 20210141453
Abstract: A system and method for determining a vector of action based on a psychological state and a contextual state of a user are provided. The system utilizes signals generated by biological processes to determine a user's psychological state and utilizes environmental conditions to determine a user's contextual state. The signals are detected by at least one user sensor within a wearable device, and the environmental conditions are detected by at least one context sensor of the system. The contextual state and psychological state are analyzed to create a vector of action for the user. A vector of action instructs the system to provide the user with an interface action based on the contextual state modified by the psychological state. Because the system continuously determines a user's psychological and contextual states, the system may continuously provide the user with interface actions relevant to the user's current emotional state and environment.

  • Publication number: 20210107072
Abstract: A router bit vise that holds and prevents the rotation of a router bit in a selected direction. It includes a tool housing and a cylindrical throughbore. Located in the throughbore is a one-way clutch assembly sized to accept a router bit shank. When inserted into the one-way clutch passageway, the router bit shank is engaged by the one-way clutch mechanism preventing movement in one rotational sense and allowing freewheeling movement in the opposite sense. No externally applied clamping force is required. With the router bit shank engaged with the one-way clutch circumferential rotation of the router bit is controlled allowing for bit maintenance, including cleaning, sharpening and most importantly enabling the application of the torque necessary to tighten or loosen a router bit fastener with no potential for shank slipping or damage.
