  • Publication number: 20180002960
Abstract: An addition to reduce noise made by a garage door hinge by incorporating two Delrin or hard plastic injection molded washers placed between the two halves of the hinges and slide it over the hinge barrel. This provides a friction reducing pivot point and holds in lubricant. An additional improvement is to hold the barrel in place and reduce the problem of the barrel moving side to side. The improvement will stop or at least significantly reduce the extra noise of the garage door hinge as the garage door moves and provide smoother operation of the hinge.

  • Patent number: 9702181
Abstract: A decorative insert for a garage door panel comprising a multiplicity of decorative shapes, each respective decorative shape having exterior retaining taps extending transversely to an exterior surface of each decorative shape. The garage door panel includes a transparent sheet of material affixed to the back of the garage door panel by a frame member and a garage door frame is affixed to the front surface of the garage door panel with a gap between an interior surface of the garage door frame and the transparent sheet of material so that at least a portion of the retaining tabs of the decorative insert can be retained within the gap between the interior surface of the garage door panel frame and the transparent sheet of material to retain the decorative insert at spaced apart locations.

  • Publication number: 20160239159
Abstract: A system and method for converting website content is presented. Design elements in a graphical representation of a web page are identified. The design elements are ordered according to a position of each of the design elements with respect to a top of the graphical representation of the web page. One or more of the ordered design elements are grouped into one or more groups of design elements, and the design elements are stacked by rearranging each group of design elements into a single column. The single column of the groups of design elements are rendered into a converted web page for display on a device. In one implementation, the device is a mobile device.

  • Patent number: 9353538
Abstract: A stiffening strut to be used in conjunction with a rear surface of a garage door panel having a given width-wise length, formed in a generally U-shaped body. First and second sidewalls each with a bottom side edge and a top side edge, a front edge and a rear edge, the bottom side edge extends to first lengthwise mounting sleeve having an interior edge aligned with said bottom side edge, the first mounting sleeve having an outer edge parallel to the inner edge, the first lengthwise mounting sleeve having a given width, the first lengthwise mounting sleeve having a multiplicity of spaced apart openings by which fastening means affix the stiffening strut to the top of a garage door panel.

  • Publication number: 20160089045
Abstract: This invention is directed to materials and devices for sensing bio-potential signals from animals, particularly to sensing bio-potential signals to monitor humans in the medical field. In general, bio-potential sensors may be attached to the body of an animal, such as a human, in order to receive bio-potential signals such that information about the bioelectrical properties of the cells and/or tissues of the animal may be gathered. The bio-potential sensor may generally include a dry electrode that may be placed in contact with the skin of an animal to receive bio-potential signals from the animal. A dry electrode may generally include an electrically conductive solid material which may conduct electrical signals from an animal.

  • Patent number: 9270730
Abstract: Discussion of content between users of social networks is described. A cloud computing system of a plurality of cloud computing systems is determined for processing a request in a first syntax from a client computer system. The request is translated from the first syntax to a second syntax of the cloud computing system and transmitted to the cloud computing system in the second syntax. The server computer system includes drivers to enable bi-directional translation of communications between the client computer system and the plurality of cloud computing systems, wherein the drivers provide bi-directional translation for at least one of the plurality of cloud computing systems.

  • Patent number: 9249622
Abstract: An improvement in garage door tracks which includes placing an inwardly pressed hem on the distal ends of the sections of track which surround the gap by which wheels from a garage door are placed into a track chamber. The hems on the distal end provide increased strength and a safer smoother edge. The inward hemming also does not interfere with the roller wheels of the garage door. This further solves the problem of track failure and bulge or crimping and causes less stress on the garage door track. A further innovation is to have strengthening ribs at different locations on the garage door track to provide further strength to the garage door track. A further innovation is to provide strengthening ribs at different locations on the garage door track to provide further strength to the garage door track.
