  • Publication number: 20170147513
Abstract: A shared program memory and related components configured to distribute data from a memory block to multiple processors at the same time. An arbiter determines what processors are requesting data from the same memory locations. Data from that memory location is then accessed and sent to the requesting processors so that the data arrives at about the same time to each processor, for example, during the same clock cycle. Such distribution is made possible using a configuration such as a shared data bus with corresponding valid bits for each register or using a multicaster and separate data busses for each processor.

  • Publication number: 20160373466
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media configured to receive a search query and identify one or more messages matching at least a portion of the search query are provided. The identified one or more messages may be displayed, in some examples, and user input may be received identified at least one message of the identified one or more messages for further processing, such as quarantine. In some examples, the at least one message may be transmitted to an account search server which may search a plurality of user accounts, such as email accounts. The account search server may identify one or more occurrences of the at least one message in one or more accounts of the plurality of accounts and may remove the occurrence of the at least one message from the account and transfer the at least one message to a quarantine location.

  • Patent number: 9321978
Abstract: A fire kindler (8) comprised of a comfortably portable geometrically shaped quartered plate of combustible material having a variable plurality of horizontal apertures therethrough which extract additional evolving gases into immediate combustion for extra heat and which operates in an elevated vertical position between two parallel logs so to present a common lower crest (18A) which bifurcates into a symmetric divergent communal acclivity of surfaces (10), (12), and (14A) which rise into opposite common divergent convergent junctions (16) whereby symmetric surfaces (14B) rise convergently to terminate at vertical height in a common upper crest (18B) so that fire kindler (8) is easy to ignite and will convergently and prominently direct combustion into a hotter and steadier solitary flame whereby potential heat is aimed at a localized area of any intended fuel placed above it. Thus, developing a hot spot on the firewood which increases entropy and rate of ignition.

  • Publication number: 20160048956
Abstract: Methods and systems for obtaining a probabilistic diagnosis based on medical images of a patient are disclosed. In exemplary embodiments, such methods include the steps of scanning some or all of a patient to obtain a medical image; evaluating the medical image for one or more designated key features; assigning discrete values to the one or more designated key features to form a patient scan key feature pattern; and transmitting the values of the one or more designated key features to a processor programmed to match the patient scan key feature pattern to one or more known disease-specific key feature patterns to create a probabilistic diagnosis and transmit the probabilistic diagnosis to a user. Associated systems include a medical imaging device that is capable of producing a medical image of some or all of a patient and a processor programmed to create a probabilistic diagnosis.

  • Patent number: 9200227
Abstract: One embodiment of a fire-kindler which produces a solitary flame cone comprised of pre-mixed air and fuel gases and an increased flame velocity. Comfortably portable in ones' back pocket, a conveniently accessible product of easy use. More reliable in and resistant to adverse outdoor conditions when igniting a woodfire. Comprised of a geometrically shaped plate of combustible material, body of fire-kindler 8 of FIGS. 1,2 and 3 has a multiplicity of air apertures 14A-16A18A, thru, 14F-16F-18F of FIG. 2 passing therethrough. Working co-operatively to produce a strong increased flame velocity in a more neutral solitary flame. Thus establishing a more intense heat output in a more persistently sturdy flame that remains more consistently focused among adverse winds. Thereby, increasing the application of heat and the speed and ease of firewood ignition.

  • Patent number: 9074436
Abstract: A method of installing a sensor in a borehole drilled through underground formations, wherein the borehole is drilled with a hollow drill string formed from a series of pipe sections connected end-to-end, a drill bit being positioned at one end of the drill string and having a closure member that provides an opening between the borehole and the inside of the drill string, the method comprising: drilling the borehole to a predetermined; partially withdrawing the drill string from the borehole so that the drill bit is positioned above the predetermined depth; lowering a sensor inside the drill string by means of a cable; operating the closure so that the sensor can pass out of the drill string into the borehole; and progressively withdrawing the drill string and drill bit from the borehole over the cable so as to leave the sensor in the borehole.
