  • Patent number: 11507675
Abstract: A computer security system with enhanced whitelisting includes user interfaces that accept user inputs to create and modify a set of rules that define which programs are allowed to execute on one or more target systems. Upon an attempt to run a program, the set of rules are used to determine if the program is allowed to run. If any rule indicates that the program is allowed to run, the program is run. Otherwise, a user interface is presented to either block execution of the program or to create a new rule that would allow execution of the program this time and in the future.

  • Patent number: 11508662
Abstract: A device and method for providing enhanced bridge structures is disclosed. A set of conducting and insulating layers are deposited and lithographically processed. The conducting layers have uFLS routing. A bridge with uFLS contacts and die disposed on the underlying structure such that the die are connected with the uFLS contacts and uFLS routing. For core-based structures, the layers are formed after the bridge is placed on the underlying structure and the die connected to the bridge through intervening conductive layers. For coreless structures, the layers are formed over the bridge and carrier, which is removed prior to bonding the die to the bridge, and the die bonded directly to the bridge.

  • Patent number: 11507557
Abstract: Method and system are provided for dynamic sampling of streaming data using finite memory. The method includes configuring a number of data points required in a sample of incoming streaming data and providing memory slots in a memory reservoir for the number of data points, with the memory slots each configured to store a position index and signal data pair for a data point, and each memory slot having a filtering thread configured to determine whether an index and signal data pair of the incoming streaming data should be stored in the memory slot. The filtering threads are configured to dynamically repopulate the memory slots for the number of data points with index and signal data pairs at increasing arrival intervals in the stream of streaming data as the incoming streaming data arrives.

  • Patent number: 11507033
Abstract: A method includes operating equipment to affect a variable state or condition of a space and determining a set of learned weights for a neural network by modeling an estimated cost of operating the equipment over a plurality of simulated scenarios. Each simulated scenario includes simulated measurements relating to the space. The neural network is configured to generate simulated control dispatches for the equipment based on the simulated measurements. The method also includes configuring the neural network for online control by applying the set of learned weights, applying actual measurements relating to the space to the neural network to generate a control dispatch for the equipment, and controlling the equipment in accordance with the control dispatch.

  • Patent number: 11504593
Abstract: A ground traversing, electrically driven drone travels along a preprogrammed path that corresponds to pass catcher's travel path during a play, matching the pass catcher's speed and run cuts. The play is wirelessly communicated to the drone by a handheld electronic device located remote of the drone. A target is located on the drone so that a quarterback can throw a football at the target in order to refine the quarterback's timing and accuracy for the play. Sensors onboard the drone track both the football's and quarterback's speed and travel trajectories so that such data can be collected, along with the drone's travel path, and stored onboard the drone's control unit and eventually fed into 3-D reconstruction software for analysis by the quarterback and coaching staff. The target rotates so that the target either faces in a fixed direction or constantly faces the quarterback during execution of drone's maneuvers.

  • Patent number: 11505826
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a single-end sequencing method for improved detection of genomic rearrangements such as deletions, insertions, inversions, and translocations that are present in a polynucleotide. A first priming event allows for sequencing of a target sequence, and a second priming event on an adapter allows for identification of the sequences amplified and tagged by selective amplification. The combination of priming events in the same direction facilitates read alignment and the identification of any genomic rearrangements.

  • Patent number: 11509108
Abstract: A multi-stage thulium-doped (Tm-doped) fiber amplifiers (TDFA) is based on the use of single-clad Tm-doped optical fiber and includes a wavelength conditioning element to compensate for the nonuniform spectral response of the initial stage(s) prior to providing power boosting in the output stage. The wavelength conditioning element, which may comprise a gain shaping filter, exhibits a wavelength-dependent response that flattens the gain profile and output power distribution of the amplified signal prior to reaching the output stage of the multi-stage TDFA. The inclusion of the wavelength conditioning element allows the operating bandwidth of the amplifier to be extended so as to encompass a large portion of the eye-safe 2 ?m wavelength region.
