  • Publication number: 20190392515
Abstract: A device and method for management of an account. An event placement timeline is displayed. Account events are shown along the timeline. A preferred event time range or “safe zone” is shown along the timeline. The “safe zone” is the portion of the month during which it is safe to schedule certain events, like bill payments, with lower risk of NSF, overdraft or the like. The user moves a movable object into the “safe zone” to reschedule the account event in the “safe zone”, and the settings of the account are modified to automatically execute the account event at that time.

  • Publication number: 20190392426
Abstract: A method securely manages smart card transactions. A processing entity receives a smart card identifier from a smart card, where the smart card is a virtual card on a mobile computing device that comprises a processor, where the smart card identifier is a transaction-specific identifier for a transaction. A protected application is received at the mobile computing device, where a received protected application initially cannot be utilized by an operating system for execution by the processor. A security object is received at the mobile computing device, where the security object is used to convert the received protected application into an executable application that can be utilized by the operating system for execution by the processor. The processor executes the executable application to act as the virtual card, where the virtual card provides a functionality of a predefined physical electronic card.

  • Publication number: 20190392010
Abstract: Internet searches sometimes provide search results referencing webpages that do not contain all search term elements submitted by a user. The user may then click on such Internet search results where referenced webpages, and/or their descendants, do not contain important search term elements. Also, advertisements may be placed on search results webpages that relate to the user's search term elements, even though there may be search terms missing in referenced and/or descendant webpages. The present invention is directed to: annotating Internet search results to indicate missing search term elements on referenced and descendant webpages; optionally filtering out search results referencing webpages with missing terms; and showing advertisements related to search term elements.

  • Publication number: 20190393330
Abstract: Novel and useful quantum structures that provide various control functions. Particles are brought into close proximity to interact with one another and exchange information. After entanglement, the particles are moved away from each other but they still carry the information contained initially. Measurement and detection are performed on the particles from the entangled ensemble to determine whether the particle is present or not in a given qdot. A quantum interaction gate is a circuit or structure operating on a relatively small number of qubits. Quantum interaction gates implement several quantum functions including a controlled NOT gate, quantum annealing gate, controlled SWAP gate, a controlled Pauli rotation gate, and ancillary gate. These quantum interaction gates can have numerous shapes including double V shape, H shape, X shape, L shape, I shape, etc.
