  • Patent number: 8269154
Abstract: Ovenware for microwave ovens which contain a composition comprising a susceptor and a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer are improved when the composition also has a thermal conductivity of about 0.7 W/m° K. or more. Heat generated by absorption of microwave radiation by the susceptor is more readily conducted to the food being cooked when the thermal conductivity of the composition is high, particularly when the part containing the susceptor is relatively thick. Also described are designs for various pieces of ovenware containing this composition.

  • Publication number: 20120160864
Abstract: A container for storing personal care articles comprising a lid structure attached to the container is disclosed. The lid structure has a top lid portion connected to a base lid portion. The base lid portion includes a rigid port surrounding a unitary dispensing partition extending in an x and z direction to the rigid port, the unitary dispensing partition having a dispensing slit formed therethrough. The unitary dispensing partition forms an arc extending a first depth into the interior of the container in a z-direction. The depth of the dispensing partition allows for the personal care article to be stored in a pop-up dispensing position with a larger portion of the personal care article extending from the dispensing slit. This allows for easier retrieval of the product by a consumer and less dispensing failures.

  • Publication number: 20120151460
Abstract: A parallel-code optimization system includes a Procedural Concurrency Graph (PCG) generator. The PCG generator produces an initial PCG of a computer program including parallel code, and determines a refined PCG from the initial PCG by applying concurrency-type refinements and interference-type refinements to the initial PCG. The initial PCG and the refined PCG include nodes and edges connecting pairs of the nodes. The nodes represent defined procedures in the parallel code, and each edge represents a may-happen-in-parallel relation, and is associated with a set of lvalues that represents the immediate interference between the corresponding pair of nodes.

  • Publication number: 20120151462
Abstract: A parallel-code optimization system includes a siloed program reference-identifier and an intermediate representation (IR) updater. The siloed program reference identifier determines siloed program references in parallel code, wherein siloed program references are free of cross-thread interference. The IR updater modifies data-flow abstractions based on the identified siloed program references.

  • Publication number: 20120120468
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to arbitration systems and methods. In one embodiment, an arbitration system comprises a loop-shaped arbitration waveguide (602), a loop-shaped hungry waveguide (603), and a loop-shaped broadcast waveguide (604). The arbitration, hungry, and broadcast waveguides optically coupled to a home node and a number of requesting nodes. The arbitration waveguide transmits tokens injected by the home node. A token extracted by a requesting node grants the node access to a resource for the duration or length of the token. The hungry waveguide transmits light injected by the home node. A requesting node in a hungry state extracts the light from the hungry waveguide. The broadcast waveguide transmits light injected by the home node such that the light indicates to requesting nodes not in the hungry state to stop extracting tokens from the arbitration waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20120048858
Abstract: A lid structure for use with a container for storing personal care products is disclosed. The lid structure includes a lid-activation button that when pressed allows the lid top to rotate about the lid base giving a consumer access to the contents of the container. Additionally, the lid-activation button functions so that the lid top is released independent of where the lid-activation button is pressed by the consumer. To create better and more consistent opening of the lid top portion, an inner longitudinal edge of the lid-activation button may be attached to the lid bottom via a living hinge that is formed integrally with the lid base. A strengthening rib is attached to the living hinge that keeps the main body side of the living hinge immobile and encourages the button side of the living hinge to flex when the lid-activation button is depressed.

  • Publication number: 20110273255
Abstract: A transformer tank having opposing walls and junctions between adjacent tank walls being intermediate walls defining obtuse angles with respect to each of their respective adjacent tank walls such that the tank is free from perpendicular wall intersections. Internal framework is disposed within the tank for preventing inward wall deflections and is anchored to the intermediate walls and is substantially free from attachment to the opposing walls. The tank undergoes volumetric expansion in response to increases in internal positive pressure to avoid tank rupture.

  • Patent number: 7904476
Abstract: One embodiment relates to an automated method for compressing an n-partite representation of an access control list or other binary relation. A first joining procedure is applied to join first and second relations in the n-partite representation and so eliminate a first intermediate set of elements, resulting in a first (n?1)-partite representation. A first re-factoring procedure generates updated first and second relations and an updated first intermediate set of elements, resulting in an updated n-partite representation. Other features, aspects and embodiments are also disclosed.
