  • Patent number: 10095269
Abstract: A motion control assembly includes a motion control device electrically connected to a battery pack and to a mobile computing device for at least data transmission therebetween. The motion control device can generate inputs, such as inputs corresponding to an attribute of a sensed object, for transmission to the mobile computing device. The drain on a battery of a battery-powered mobile computing device can be reduced when used with a motion control device as follows. A motion control assembly, comprising a motion control device and a battery pack, capable of powering the motion control device, as an integral, one-piece unit, is selected. The motion control device is connected to an electrical connector of a battery-powered mobile computing device. The motion control device is supplied with power from the battery pack during use so the motion control device can be operated using the power from the battery pack.

  • Publication number: 20180283153
Abstract: Diagnostic or assisting lateral wellbores can have a significant benefit for injecting and distributing treatment fluids and other materials within complex fracture networks that surpass conventional injection at the primary lateral wellbore perforations for acquiring empirical knowledge about the numerous processes that influence shale reservoir production which occur after primary shale reservoir stimulation. Injection of diagnostic treatment fluids or treating chemicals for understanding production optimization, such as water-block removal, fines migration removal, and treating chemicals for prevention of scale and paraffin deposition, can be injected along the diagnostic lateral wellbore or frac interval lateral wellbores to give broader and/or deeper distribution into the fracture network than by using mono-bore-centric diagnostic injection techniques.

  • Patent number: 10053228
Abstract: The example embodiments are directed to a device and method for matching together aircraft status reports. In one example, the method includes detecting, via a user interface, a selection of an aircraft from among a plurality of aircraft that have provided aircraft status reports, determining a group of aircraft status reports, from among the received status reports, which were generated by the respective aircraft during a flight of the respective aircraft, based on metadata of the received aircraft status reports, and displaying, via the user interface, the group of aircraft status reports determined to be provided by the respective aircraft during the flight. By linking together status reports from an entire flight, analysis may be performed on data from across an entire flight instead of an individual status report thereby improving flight data analysis and subsequent actions taken based on that analysis.

  • Patent number: 10041046
Abstract: Described are cell culture solutions and systems for epithelial stem cell and organoid cultures, formation of epithelial constructs and uses of the same in transplantation. A single layer of epithelial cells that actively self-renews and is organized into crypts and villi clothes the intestine. It has been recently shown that the renewal of intestinal epithelium is driven by Lgr5+ intestinal stem cells (ISC) that reside at the base of these crypts (Barker et al., 2007). Lgr5+ stem cells can be isolated and cultured in vitro to form organoids containing crypt-vcllus structures that recapitulates the native intestinal epithelium (Sato et al., 2009).
