  • Patent number: 4845468
Abstract: A brake condition warning system for liquid cooled brakes that includes an indicator showing whether pressure in the cooling liquid passing through the erodable brake members has exceeded an acceptable valve which corresponds to an excessive amount of brake wear. Also, there may be included temperature sensitive means for sensing the temperature of the liquid in the chamber preventing the pressure indication until the cooling liquid has reached a predetermined operating temperature thus preventing false indications of excessive wear due to the viscosity of cold cooling liquid.

  • Patent number: 4684004
Abstract: The transmission control for a vehicle hydraulic transmission includes a sequence control valve that includes a shuttle valve and an interconnected sequence valve which are connected with speed and direction clutches of the transmission. The shuttle valve senses the drop in pressure in the direction clutches when they are shifted to actuate the sequence control valve to initially dump the speed clutch and then to keep that clutch disengaged until the direction clutch has fully re-engaged.

  • Patent number: 4399580
Abstract: A combined shoe brush and dauber arrangement having two separate brush sections which matingly assembly to form the shape of a conventional shoe brush configuration. One of the brush sections operates as a dauber. Side hinges are provided for releasably securing the sections together so that they can be selectively disengaged to permit independent usage of at least one of the sections or selectively securely joined together for usage of the dauber and for storage and transport. Confrontingly abutting end surfaces of the two sections are complementary tapered relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 4387630
Abstract: The continuous processing of food products with steam, such as for blanching or cooking of vegetal products. The apparatus comprises a heating module and holding module. The heating module includes a pervious conveyor through which steam is emitted to heat and agitate the products thereon allowing uniform treatment of relatively thick layers of product. The holding module, comprising a compartmentalized conveyor, holds the heated products at an elevated temperature to complete processing without additional heat input.

  • Patent number: 3935599
Abstract: A hollow fiberglass bulkhead is constructed for submersion in a swimming pool. Two boxes open-top and open-ended are joined, a shelf is added, end supporting hardware is added, a bottom is placed on the box and the ends are closed and the box is then inverted to be installed in the swimming pool. Balsa wood plates provide rigidity and partial flotation while two end rollers prevent the bulkhead from becoming twisted as it is moved along the pool.
