  • Publication number: 20200034114
Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus for associating electronic devices together based on received audio commands are described. Methods for associating an audio-controlled device with a physically separate display screen device such that information responses can then be provided in both audio and graphic formats using the two devices in conjunction with each other are described. The audio-controlled device can receive audio commands that can be analyzed to determine the author, which can then be used to further streamline the association operation.

  • Patent number: 10524720
Abstract: A biosensor includes an optical sensor circuit that emits light directed at skin tissue of a patient at a plurality of wavelengths. A first and second spectral response of light reflected from the tissue is obtained around a first wavelength in a UV range and a second wavelength in an IR range. A measurement of a substance in blood flow is then determined from the spectral responses. A risk of a health condition is obtained using the measurement. The health condition may include one or more of hyperglycemia, diabetes or hypoglycemia.

  • Patent number: 10517515
Abstract: A biosensor for monitoring nitric oxide (NO) of a patient in vivo, includes a PPG circuit configured to obtain a first spectral response for light reflected at a first wavelength from skin tissue of the patient, wherein the first wavelength has a high absorption coefficient for nitric oxide in arterial blood flow and obtain a second spectral response for light reflected at a second wavelength from skin tissue of the patient, wherein the second wavelength has a low absorption coefficient for nitric oxide in arterial blood flow. The biosensor further includes a processing circuit configured to determine an NO measurement value for nitric oxide using the first spectral response and the second spectral response and obtain an adjusted measurement value of nitric oxide by compensating the NO measurement value using a measurement value for at least a first species of hemoglobin.

  • Patent number: 10513166
Abstract: A vehicle includes a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system for heating and cooling a passenger compartment. The HVAC system includes a refrigerant loop and a coolant loop, and an auxiliary coolant loop for heating and cooling at least a portion of the passenger compartment. The auxiliary coolant loop includes a pump for moving a coolant, within the auxiliary coolant loop, through a first heat exchanger coupled to the refrigerant loop via an expansion device, a second heat exchanger positioned within the passenger compartment, and a third heat exchanger coupled to the coolant loop. A flow control valve controls a flow of coolant to the third heat exchanger. The temperature of the coolant within the auxiliary coolant loop is controlled utilizing the flow valve and the pump. The first and third heat exchangers may be in parallel for controlling the movement of coolant there between to control temperature.

  • Patent number: 10500354
Abstract: An atomizer includes a cartridge with a reservoir containing a fluid and a heating system configured to atomize the fluid into a vapor for inhalation. A respiratory indicator is configured to determine an inhalation period and an exhalation period of a patient using the atomizer. The atomizer then increases atomization of the vapor during the inhalation period and decreases atomization of the vapor during the exhalation period. An impedance sensor measures an amount of the fluid in the atomizer and deactivates atomization in response to an indication of a low fluid level.
